About 40 hours. Just completed my 3rd playthrough and the last two achievements didn’t pop… Really annoyed and I think I’m done now.

Oh gross! I just started playing it, honestly kind of wish we could switch to SNES graphics. It’s not a very pretty remake and the voice acting is terrible.

Fun little dungeon crawler/puzzle game with a little bit of social aspects. I had fun in the beginning but actually dropped it for a while because it started getting a little stale, but then once the story got a bit further I was hooked and burned through the rest of the game pretty quickly. As an added bonus they did an update that added more achievements so I was able to get those along with the remaining base game ones (it’s the New Game+ update but you can get all of the achievements in your initial run like I did).

I’m always looking for something to scratch that Vampire Survivors itch, but this didn’t do a good job. It’s competent enough, but there was something about it that just seemed off, though I can’t really put my finger on exactly what. Definitely not my first (or second, or third) recommendation to anyone looking for a bullet heaven game.

What would your top three suggestions be? I finished Vampire Survivors and Brotato on game pass, but would still like to play more games like them.

Those two and Army of Ruin would be my top 3. There’s also Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde and, as mentioned above, Nerd Survivors. If you haven’t already done so, there’s also a new DLC for Brotato that just dropped a day or two ago that adds a bunch of new characters, weapons, items, and achievements.

short announcement:

The last couple of weeks the bot for calculating our weekly and monthly leaderboards threw a lot of timeouts and error messages. It seems when i throttle the usage of the OpenXbl API calls more this subsides. This increases the runtime of the bot significantly (roughly doubles to 5 to 10 minutes) and i dont like waiting. To migitate that I will cull some inactive users from our list at the start of the next season.

After every season i already removed every user with 0 (zero) achievements in these 6 months. Now i will also delete users who haven’t posted in this forum in years. Shouldnt make a difference for all active participants but will hopefully reduce the clutter and runtime a bit.

Any objections?

Poll will go up Tuesday for those wondering. Also, I have no objections to culling inactive users. I just need to make sure I make myself active in the next 2 months. :sweat_smile:
