Solid review. The performance mode for handheld surprised me. They definitely outdid themselves. Well done.

Aside from new content in the story, are there new missions or other things that weren’t in the original here?
Been playing this one for a bit now. LOVING it so far and even the stealth parts, which is so weird for me as I used to despise stealth parts of games, where I felt like I was being forced in to it. Though like in AC Shadows it felt more optional and well done

There’s 4 new story rifts that play like what if scenarios, and around 4-6 hours of new “story missions” in there too.

Great review Jon!! What difficulty level were you playing on?
I’m super hyped and will start Black Flag Resynced tomorrow as I start my mini-five day vacation. Yay me!! lol
My best and favorite Assassin’s Creed game getting a full fledged remake was something that I never thought would happen and best of all, all that present day crap (granted, it’s not horrible but that’s not why im playing an AC game) is gone.
And unlike Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar, Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, I actually bought the deluxe edition for Black Flag since it’s one of my all time best and favorite games. I tried watching a few minutes of an actual ten minute walkthrough from JorRaptor and just hearing the music in the menu gave me goosebumps to where I had to stop watching. Super hyped and excited!!! The last time I felt this way was with Starfield three years ago.
