Black Myth: Wu Kong - 13 Minutes Official Gameplay Trailer

One of the features I have high hopes for, for Xbox in the (near) future.

Daaaannnggg, this is looking like the best Dragon Ball game, ever .

Biomutant never looked good to me. This game looks incredible.

This didn’t look good to you?

I wonder if this will actually come to xbox one day. Seems like something sony would lock down and xbox wouldn’t try to hard to get

I want this to come to Xbox, however I would not be surprised if it doesn’t. Not going to get my hopes up lol.

Which honestly is just unbelievable, especially when MS clearly realizes they need to do even better for Asian content. And talking about a real graphical showcase for your console! This is it.

We just gotta wait and see, after all Xbox IS getting Bright Memory Infinite and a few other games from Asia that aren’t from Japan.

And apparently it’s planned for three games? Xbox can’t miss out here. Also MS has had all three Dark Souls games debut at their shows, also Sekiro and this has clearly Souls elements and definitely real potential to be big. Oh and can’t forget about that they actually managed to bring over Yakuza and Judgment, two franchises that aren’t necessarily crazy sellers for Xbox audiences.

Game looks great, hope it comes to Series X. Would be a shame if this good looking game skips the most powerful console

This and The Vanshee are two games I hope make their way to xbox.

You’re not one of those people who gets mad about cg trailers then, I’m guessing.

Actually gameplay trailers of the combat no. And a lot of people hadn’t even heard of biomutant until this year. Can’t put it in the same category as cyberpunk.

Something about the combat looks off, visually it looks nice for sure and the animations are pretty good but something looks fishy about this game. I guess as you said we will see how good the game is when it releases.

Everything about this game seems too good to be true. It looks incredible, almost too incredible.

Right, never said it was same category as cyberpunk or the best. Just saying how Biomutant looked good from their trailers too as a cautionary tale how Black Myth could turn out the same. Where this game could end up with shallow world and boring game mechanics or fighting that doesn’t seem to connect.

I hope we’re wrong, but as you said, something seems off on the combat. I’m not sure how else to describe it. Almost like it’s too disconnected from how actual combat would be, like maybe it’s too slow or deliberate for what you’d expect to see in the genre? I think I’ve had faster combat in my playthrough of Hellblade Senua Sacrifice which so isn’t a fighting game than what they showed in the Black Myth trailers so far.

No. Just average at best. Approximative in everything. Jack of all trades, master of none.

This. Biomutant had cheap AAA game written all over it from the get go. I guess people overhyped open world games for being open world.

Biomutant would have been a much better game if they used their limited resources into making a more smaller scaled action game with far less mechanics and a much better written story and characters.

We’ll see how this Black Myth game turns out. We still have a couple more years to go before their planned release date (2023). It’s described as being action RPG but I don’t recall seeing any RPG aspects in what was shown yet.

Yep of course staying cautious is the best approach till we see the final product cause how many overhyped games failed to deliver.

I agree with you about what was said on the animations sync. Still needing polish on this side.

But the theme and premise sound exciting seems fresh and different to other games in terms of landscapes etc. We’ll see the underlying structure come release

I think we are just seeing what a game looks like developed with modern tools aimed at the new console specs and high end pc’s.

It reminds me of this
