Bloomberg: Microsoft Sets Sights on Sony’s Home Turf in Game Console Clash

If Level 5 scam MS, I hope the studio close, they’re in trouble and I hope MS will not buy this shit

I’ve been saying Sega for months, it just makes the most sense: the history, the long standing relationship, GamePass content, and Sega has a breadth and diversity of content and developers that fill their portfolio gaps nicely.

Guys guys guys, This is clearly to compete with Sony showing their car at CES this year.

That’s the other extreme, I meant that I wouldn’t want to do business with them anymore if they took money from me for a project, that was too big for them too handle and then used it for other projects. Level 5 is totally fine as it’s own studio and smaller jrpg games with great art style. Just I’m maybe not as forgiving as others are.

This also has been 15 years ago, so thing have changed. I regret my extreme reaction a bit now, as interviews are hard to find. But even the Hino interviews talk about parting in hostile ways, which means that Microsoft was not happy with how things went and neither was level 5.

I work in the automotive industry, and one of the big ‘fears’ is that Amazon/Google/Apple/Microsoft/etc. will buy a car manufacturer or a supplier from that industry. Automotive and IT are getting closer and closer, to a point it makes sense for a tech company to make a car. With all the changes in the automotive industry (electrification, lower sales numbers, higher investment costs) it could very well be that Google/…/… uses some of their money on the bank to buy a car manufacturer or large supplier.

Just look at how much money they are investing in the technology for autonomous driving. It’s not that strange of a move anymore.

Japanese gamers won’t soon buy Xbox, but since they are into On the go gaming, Xcloud on Android could be the answer.
