I’ve been meaning to say, I really liked seeing the forum graphic change. I love how this site is trying to do what it can to be inclusive to all, no matter what your background. I wish people (not limited to this site, but it’s a good start) could start embracing all we have in common and trying to help each other, and spend less time trying to emphasize differentness. I don’t care what you look like or who you like or what games you play (or where). Thanks to the staff and fine folks here for doing what you can to make sure this corner of the internet is safe and welcoming. And it may have been mentioned, but check out @anon98342452’s thread on Xbox games by month. I’ve been holding back mostly since I didn’t have a console yet at the time frame the thread is currently looking at, but it’s a cool place for you to say what you liked best from the archives of time. Cool positive thread, and hopefully more people will start checking it out and contributing.
It is one of the best threads here, and like you say RomanBob just a wonderfully positive and celebratory thread.
We, all of us could do well to spend more time discussing games we love free from honeymoon periods of launch and less time arguing over things which may or may not happen at some point in the future.

Oh I did nothing for this thread, I specifically got scared of making a pride threat in case it “failed” I waited til lovely @SuikerBrood came along, made it and then and ingratiated my way in like a mistletoe on a Hawthorn tree.
That’s wonderful Mort. Like you, I always supported the community (I basically raised myself to be the antithesis of most of my family), and my personal experience in understanding how important allies are is similar to yours, but unfortunately my understanding of how important that was came too late. In a world that can be so cruel to people for simply being themselves, it’s such an important thing to love, elevate, and protect our friends and family in the community.
A little baby! and being an uncle or aunt is the greatest thing in the world, you are adored, you are “cool”, you are the most fun and you get to go home alone in the evening
This makes me so emotional to read. It is the best feeling in the world to be able to be free to be authentic at work and in your personal life.
It is (as someone prevented from that authenticity for so long) so unlike anything I have ever felt unlike any high, unlike any medicine or unlike any dream.
It is such joy to be yourself without fear, such joy to be listened to, such joy to feel “normal”, such joy to feel pride and not shame.
I made the mistake of looking at some of twitter yesterday and saw the oft repeated complaining of why people have to show their personal lives especially during pride month and it reminds me of a terrified girl hidden away and miserable for so long only feeling “real” when she saw others like her.
We need to be loud and out and proud for every single person around the world who cannot be, they deserve to know they are fine, and though they may never meet us, are loved.
Just as a quick note. Someone in Jez’s Windows central discord posted some of the Pride backgrounds that have been used in Edge previously. They look gorgeous and I have them on cycle for my desktop.
