Yeah, it’s COD so it will probably still manage to sell over 10 million lifetime, the franchise is insane, without Game Pass it would be second only to BF6 this year in sales.
It really did seem like a lameduck game, I just didn’t see much excitement for this one probably because the franchise is yearly and has been for years and it feels like since 2020 all they’ve done is MW and BO games, with the exception of Vanguard in 2021, they need to take a break, next year seems like it would be the perfect time but they’re already talking about the new one that’s coming.
I guess these numbers for BO7 being considered a letdown shows how big the franchise is, if Halo 7 came out with numbers like those we’d probably be saying “biggest Halo game since 4!” or something, in terms of sales.
