They are releasing a next gen patch in 2021, what im wondering is if cdprojectred had the forsight to include a unlocked fps+res mode in the 1X and pro versions.

I’ll play the beginning section now on my Series X then shelf it for the next gen patch. Will give me the ability to really appreciate the upgrade.
Okay. It seems like the XSX/PS5 is basically running the game in BC mode based on X/Pro versions. The prologue is pretty substantial from what I have read/heard so you should get a good feel for the game.
I am not getting my hopes up on this but how sweet would it be if they have a performance mode with a unlocked framerate. It’s probably not in the Xbox One/PS4 version, but maybe, just maybe for the XSX/PS5 versions?
Need previews out to see cause if Stadia gives me 60fps and solid visuals Ill just play it there and snag another chromecast in the process. I only wanna play it once and I dont know if waiting till 2021 is what I want to do for 60fps.
I think they said it’s BC, but with the SX aware apis so they can improve some settings like SSR
