F&*K, I was today is my last day this is probably going to make me turn on auto renew, shit.
Edit: Just a dumb rant about me caving in because they had to release this news today instead of tomorrow. I just hope this applies to everyone subbed world wide.
Summary
Edit: I caved because of that news and I hate myself right now, especially since I cancelling other subs to save money anyways. Freaking Microsoft coming up with a consumer friendly solution that being a long time member rewards you with some leeway for bit from their new pricing and doing it on my last freaking day of all times, why couldnât they have put this news out tomorrow.
So that I could have said well shit and moved on with my life? Now Iâm right back where I started with this whole thing damn it.

I was literally on my last day today and I would have preferred not knowing so that my sub would lapse and I wouldnât cave in.

If they donât charge me the new price Iâm unlikely to change my mind and start buying cheap core/standard yearly to keep me subbed until I forget about it and go back to being a monthly user again.
Which is when they will charge me 30 and Iâm going to be disappointed in myself for being so easily played. But like I said, I hope this applies for everyone world wide thatâs on Ultimate.

I donât know if this will work but why not buy a digital code from Amazon at the old price and see if it will line up with the old plan if you turn on recurring billing then.

Speaking of fansubs, next Xbox should have AI translation overlay ability - it could make some games more accessible to more people, as not every game gets localized into every market Xbox is being sold on, check off on Satyaâs insatiable desire for pushing more AI, and most importantly, trigger all the right people in the industry.

Iâm surprised this isnât already a thing. Automatic machine translation far predates this latest âAIâ push. Microsoft edge has it, emails have it, YouTube has it for audio, any of the translator apps, and whatever else. A feature like the latest live translate platform wide for all games on the Xbox would be neat. Not a replacement for official localization, but neat and great for those who want to play a game that doesnât officially support their language for one reason or another.
