It’s good news, but I don’t think they will be able to get rid of it because of the volume of uploads they get, will make it a slow process.

Destiny 2 perhaps.
There is one YouTuber I know that uses it but he has a valid reason to use it. I know AI is seen as the most terrifying thing on the universe, but it does have its benefit.

Square makes turn based games, they just aren’t final fantasy. If someone wants to turn based, DQ is right there and is just as prestigious in Japan
I get it, but I do want FF tone/style of turn based rather than anime sensation, which has been the case for a while now.

It wouldn’t shock me if they tried real-time combat for the next DQ. But maybe that’s just me hoping it will be the case. When they described the next one I believe they talked about new stuff for combat. But of course that doesn’t have to mean real-time.
I don’t think so, it was just something that was mentioned on a thread in reddit. It was a picture of DS2 on the DS2 subreddit and domeome commented about the third DS2.
Say with the cancelation of Perfect Dark any chance Playgrounds could pick it up considering they now have a third studio helping with Fable which should be close to finishing. I imagine just like Xbox gave them Fable they could be given PD to continue or restart with a third person focus.

Playground seems to be ran really well as a studio so far. Don’t know if they could pick up PD, but I do wonder if they’d be ok picking up a 3rd franchise.
The one thing that’s for sure if they gotta keep the release cadence of Horizon as that is their bread and butter!

I think Playground is busy with three games. Horizon 5, very likely 6 thanks to Phil unless FM fooled us, and Fable.

As for Fable, I’m not so sure if it’s close to being finished. It got delayed after all, and we have no idea if it’s early, mid or late next year. Plus a complete no show at summer show.
He said the next Forza for next year. Unless FM2 is happening, it highly suggest Horizon 6.

I don’t know either it was just an idea. they are also a British studio which could work with Joanna being British.
Horizon 5 for PlayStation was done by Panic Button they had one studio and then started another one for Fable and now they have another one helping Fable which could like the other be tasked with its own IP. Besides if Fable is released next year the studio would need to be working on something new which could be anything. I’m guessing Xbox is reassessing Perfect Dark like they did Fable when they shut down Lion head and cancelled it. Playground would be a good studio if they decide to make it third person as I think they have way too much FPS already.
