On a less jokey note I kinda hope heâs working on something more cheerful than TLoU - the real worldâs a bit too close to a dystopia / pre-apocalypse vibe right now that we need escapism lol

Anyone read the latest blog post from CoD devs? Theyâre not going to release back to back same series anymore. I mean itâs best to let one breathe.

Pretty disillusioned with COD at this point to be honest. Iâll take the MW3 campaign remaster and then I probably just wonât pay attention to the series anymore.

That makes two of us; Black Flag is one of the few post-ACIII games Iâve loved in the series (Origin was the only other one that has gripped me to the point I actually beat it since the 360 days.)
Thatâs honestly for the best; Treyarch has always been my least favorite of the CoD devs and Black Ops is such a tired, and trite, storyline that I wish they would shelve it entirely. I still argue Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare eclipsed anything Treyarch did last, or current, gen.

I think MW for this year would have worked considering not only fatigue from BO series was there, but this year people wanted a grounded sensation instead of Fast series alas Hollywood on high. But hey, theyâre not only going to continue to deliver the seasonal content, but appears to do test run on what fans really want.

Yeah even as Treyarch fans, it would be nice to not have to worry about 2 back to back Modern Warfares.

Not a COD fan, but I welcome less sameity. I pray for COD one day becoming an every other year or even once every 3 years game to free up a studio or two. Oh well.
In other tangents, man I really miss earning reward points for achievements (both that 1:1 promotion Xbox would use to have and the daily achievement points). They should make some fun system to gameify gamerscores/achievements more. Feels less interactive. Also if Cloud is off beta, imma need me a daily quest for playing a game on it 
. Papa needs a new pair of shoes (save up for the next Xbox). I actually ran into an issue of playing Life is Strange on the cloud and almost forgetting to play on console or PC that day (first world problems I guess but still).
I love what Iâve seen so far of this game, I hope it doesnât get cancelled.
I started AC with Black Flag and itâs my favorite and best in the series. I tried playing AC 2 and got about halfway through the sequences but dropped it as I just wasnât into it. I rarely go back and play previous games in the series. I played Halo Infinite and loved it. Went back and played through all the previous Halo games in August 2024 for the first time ever and majority of them were between a 7 and an 8.5/10 for me. Most just donât hold up for me especially after Infinite where you have a grapple hook that changes how you play the game. Splinter Cell is another series. Beat the first two games while waiting for Conviction but trying to play Chaos Theory which is said to be the best one after Conviction, I just couldnât do it.
The only way would be for me to go through the old games first before playing the new/current one(s) for them to have a shot like the first two SC games.
Anyway, back to Black Flag. Iâm hoping that the combat system and gameplay is basically AC Origins. They had ship upgrades, sword upgrades, etc. so a lot of the RPG mechanics were already in the game. I do want the combat system of Origins in the remake. While I loved the combat of Black Flag back then, once I played Origins/Odyssey, I havenât been able to go back to Black Flag gameplay wise. I still love the game but itâs just outdated in comparison to me.
I do hope that the ship combat remains the same though because that doesnât need any changes in my opinion. I do want the story to be expanded and more main story quests would be great. The world itself just needs to be upgraded visually and I hope all the side content remains in tact because back then, I played through the game 100% three times (PS3/360/PS4) and funny thing is that with all the treasure chests in the game, they can easily just put all the loot in there like itâs Origins/Odyssey. lol
BTWâŚOrigins is my 2nd favorite AC game followed by Odyssey.

He could be right, as they tend to make new games in the Divinity IP. So it could be Divinity, but it can also not be Original Sin.
I was trying to make it sound like Larian just found out their big secret is caught and the only dodge is saying not on Original Sin 3, but still mean itâs from them, hence âF*** reallyâ line. Imagine when your secret got revealed because people went through so many obstacles and connected the dots and have a leaker also chimed in. It doesnât help that many announcements are announced by Geoff, so we have no well kept secret. At least for now.
