I still say they should just drop the whole “awards” nonsense and call it "Winter Games Fest " or something. Only reason to tune in is for trailers anyway, it’s a 3 hour ad. Just drop the pretense and maybe shave an hour off, and just show a bunch of cool shit coming in the near or not so near future. Leave the awards thing to BAFTA and DICE etc

Working towards a build is one of the things I find to be fun about playing a game, I might not click with right away, because it really gives me a reason to keep going and learn to love it sometimes. Divinity Original Sin 2 and BG3 are games that don’t really click with me right away but working towards a build and learning the game really helped sell them to me.
Now I’m doing the same with Pillars 2, I just find the UI to be a little confusing.

im going to go on an old man rant here and say i find it hilarious that people are whining about games being announced and released in 2027. My dudes, we are 1 year and half a month from being in the year 2027! I know nowadays we get shorter times between announcement and release but people acting like 2027 is 7 years away or something! And also people complaining about Fate of the Old Republic possibly being 5 years away, i mean just the other day we had no idea if we were getting any future Old Republic games (besides the remake) and now the goalposts have moved to “its too far away” lol

Just saw more info on the shooting on Bluesky, and it’s shocking as hell to hear about in the US but places like Australia that have had gun control laws for so long makes it seem surreal as hell. If Ahmed Al-Ahmed hadn’t tackled that guy and wrestled the gun away from him, it could have been so much worse.
This is just fucked up.

2 or 3 years I don’t care about, but if the studio was JUST founded then there’s a non-zero chance we ever see the game at all. Which is what happened with the KOTOR remake we were promised. I get its for investors and what not, but me personally I prefer announcements for games that have work done. I mean for Xbox, Perfect Dark, Everwild, etc. Games get announced so early them ever coming out is in question is sad.
Yeah, I saw the video of him disarming one of the gunmen. Scary to see. And a muslim too which isn’t surprising to me, but I guess for some people on the right, it is… And he has been shot after that by the other guy. Man, in Australia, from all the places…
