Indianapolis just shut down a data center development plan from Google. Because Google drew out on their own, they can try to come back in 3 months.

It’s a subscription based news platform, but the tittle does confirm just how much Microsoft has cut back using AI in house. Their spending on Claude has been cut by 1/3 of what it used to be, which considering another article that was referenced in the above link about bond markets becoming more selective to who they lend out money for data centers. I think this could mean another cut back will be happening.

Microsofts Surace event was a bit of a dumpster fire.

The workers behind Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering (Studio X) have announced they are unionizing as part of United Wizards of the Coast-CWA. According to the worker’s statement, “We have achieved a public supermajority of employees committed to our cause and are offering the opportunity for Wizards of the Coast (WOTC) and Hasbro to demonstrate their stated values by voluntarily recognizing our union.” They join the team on Magic the Gathering: Arena at the same union.

Can’t read most of it yet, but the underneath the headline, they’re unionizing because Hasbro has been claiming art/work they do on their off time as their property. I don’t know of any of that work is releated to Hasbros IP yet, but I feel the answer is going to be no.

Two videos about both financials of AI and how its adoption isn’t good enough to meet the multi trillion dollar growth that they are projected to reach in 2030 (they’re trillions of dollars behind where they should be).

And this one is about how Anthropic has finally done their due diligence and properly sand boxed their AI agents that thing which they have been telling us was impossible because AI was too powerful and uncontrollable.

Edit: My guess is that people using Facebooks Muse or other AI agents are giving the AI access that leaves them vulnerable.
