F1 is boring the life out of me at the moment. If Verstappen doesn’t have the ability to challenge on a Sunday then the race at the front is boring.
Nice to see Sainz qualify so high for McLaren this weekend but we know it won’t mean anything tomorrow.
I can’t wait until the new rules come in to play.
Unfortunately, nothing will change until 2022. Until then we can pretend Hamilton is driving the shit out of the car, that Verstappen has a chance to snatch the title or that a McLaren or Racing Point on row 2 means anything for Sunday, but the reality is that Mercedes will only lose any of the next approx. 30 races between 2020 and 2021 if they majorly fuck up. Even the new rules increased their lead.
What a boring prospect.
When it comes to Sunday, generaly I’ll watch the opening lap in case something interesting happens and then switch off. I completely missed last weeks race due to a lack of interest and I’m someone who will often get up super early in the morning for the AU race but it’s just boring as hell, it’s no longer racing (arguably it hasn’t been for a while).
That’s quite the step backward for the team in terms of recognition.

Well, at least the race is entertaining now. And most importantly, Leclerc is okay. It was a nasty accident and it were a couple long seconds of no movement shown.
Finally, an interesting race! Glad to see Leclerc is okay and it’s turned this race into an interesting race. Who we thinking for P1?

Do we not feel like Sainz can catch him and take P1 here? I would love to see McLaren win a race again.
With the engine mapping rule I don’t expect McLaren to overtake Gasly unless he makes a mistake or his tyres die.

What is happening to Williams after this race? I understand Williams are stepping down but are the team continuing to race under a different name for the remainder of the season?
