Yeah, same here. And the fact that those games have crossplay and rollback makes everything better.
But this announcement makes me wonder if Max theory/hope of ArkSys being the developers of KI can be real, because that would be a hell of a good reason for them to develop a relationship and port some games in the meantime.

Was thinkin the same thing actually.
Fighting games used to be completely PS market, but now Xbox has majority of it. SF6 was a big turning point especially it is a well known franchise. Now Xbox got the niche Guilty Gear and even Blazblue returned. Xbox has their own fighting game franchise, so if they do bring it, I’ll say Xbox has more favor on fighting than PS, which is ironic.

Actually 360/PS3 gen xbox was ahead of Sony and was mainly used in tournaments due to much better input lag on xbox. It’s nice to see fighting games back on xbox. It’s just a shame I recently bought guilty gear on PS5. Oh well, xbox fans should have a lot of fun with it.

The only big fighting IP that is missing is Virtua Fighter right now sadly but yeah overall the fighting genre is alive and kicking! hopefully we’ll get KI2 at some point too!

Yes. It’s a shame half way that gen, their focus shifted drastically. They had the momentum, so now it’s time to get back to it. The difference is Game Pass will bring more people to their product faster than those who are skeptical to cough up $60. That is a bigger advantage than anything back in 360/PS3 era.
