Played for 2 hours and the world feels so much livelier compared to fh5, much denser, way more traffic/ online players, open world activities like the time attack circuits that already had like 5-6 players racing there. Also, the menus look nice and not so cluttered compared to 5.
Won’t be playing until tonight but did sneak in a couple reviews this morning. Highly recommend Luke Reilly’s review on ign. He’s their racing reviewer and really good at it.
It was really nice to actually see some review footage of in game events actually happening. Game looks so, so good.
Good to hear. Just from the couple reviews I watched this morning I see what you mean about things being livelier. The preview coverage was overly subdued in a way.
I haven’t seen other reviews but to be declared as the current top of the year, part of me want Fable to be delayed to next year to not escape GOTY talk because many have. But I want the game on my hands as well. But GTAVI seems to be coming this year after all, but we shall see. So conflicting!
For me, reading Jesse’s review, this is easily going to smash GTA6 for me.
Can’t be arsed with boring driving and shit shooting controls, give me gorgeous racing with cheesy but happy dialogue and a beautiful location to zip through and I’m loving it.
I’ve 100% found every road and sign and everything else on every Forza Horizon, so I’m not minding the grind or familiarity mentioned in the review, I’m actively looking forward to it as it never feels like a grind for me, cruising and racing to a great soundtrack
Okay this is awesome. Definitely would rate this higher then FH5 so far only after 2 hours. Map is epic. Love the time attack tracks, could see myself just doing laps trying to improve. Anyway off to work now, keen to play some more.
Have they removed the car promo feature, like taking a pic of every car?
Also don’t remember when this feature was added to Xbox app on PC but it’s kinda neat
