I hope this is something every dev can adopt and use in every game, since it should work cross platform there wouldn’t be a need to not use it because PS5 can’t.
What a boring narration, not even a spark of excitement…it’s like you listen to an AI bot. And don’t get me started on the “mixed performance” (mixed? really?) and “E-Day is one of the best looking UE5 games IMO” (no shit Sherlock) comments. LOL
The fall of DF is sad to see, but they can’t be ecstatic over an XBOX exclusive when PlayStation name is in the mud
This is even more lame from DF trying to suck up to the Nintendo fanboys for likes & subs. This should have been a full console comparison
DF is a joke these days
So happy that I stopped watching/following Digital Foundry years ago. The only time I’ll watch them is for older/previous generation games that were remastered so I know how the remaster is and if it’s worth the money. Other than that, no point.
FSR4 is coming to PC handhelds, I remember Valve was also working on solution of their own to support FSR4. But it’s nice to know it’s getting official support.
I wonder if the fact toggling bloom off to fix an issue, shows that the new lighting model is kind of hakf baked.
Yeah, definitely seems like this needed more time in the oven. It was the lighting in the reveal trailer for Remastered that made it look really good, but it definitely isn’t without issues.
I tried the demo and it feels like black magic. Textures are poor, it’s blurry and framerate takes a hit, but the whole experience is intact.
When you stay still, you can see all the details and it’s pretty much how I remember the game looking on my Xbox Series X in performance mode. It’s very impressive to have that playable on a handheld.
