GTA 6 Extended Look Arrives this August via Netflix

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET and will also launch on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9 p.m. ET on August 27.

Six hour exclusive until it hits YouTube, yeesh, ok, I guess that’s something.

I have Netflix though.

It will leak everywhere the second it’s on Netflix, but the publicity stunt is unprecedented.

But they have made absurd amounts of money thanks to GTAO. But I guess you can never have enough money. :joy:

I already know I won’t be able to resist but I hope they don’t reveal too much, keep some truly holy shit stuff for when we play it.

Don’t really see the big deal since it’ll be on YouTube within a few hours anyway. I have Netflix though so :man_shrugging:

We, and other people are talking about it.

Bizzare.

Not to be that guy, but this is like back then with first trailer during a sports game and then it will be widely available when the time expired. I don’t want to say I don’t see the problem, but TV isn’t free too you know. I don’t know. Getting too old for constant complaint, rightfully or not.

I dont know, if netflix wants to drop a bag for 6 hours of trailer exclusivity….good for them I guess. I already pre-ordered the game, so its not like what they are going to show was going to influence my decision. GTA games and Red Dead games speak for themselves.

Ill just watch it later on YouTube.

I actually think this is nice. It reminds me of WWE. At this point Netflix could be setting a new trend that secures rights to streaming all this shows. I certainly think something like this would be good for the next Xbox Dev Direct. Netflix has 325 million subscribers, and this is certain to set a new precedent in my opinion be it good or bad.
