This is a reasonable take. My order would be like this as of now:
Halo 3 - It starts off slow, but from Tsavo Highway up until the ‘infamous’ Cortana level is peak Halo for me. Most replayable campaign imo.
Halo 2 - This was my entry to the series, so it has a special place in my heart. It has the best storyline in the series which largely makes up for some of the lackluster linear missions.
Halo Reach - Fantastic and has the most consistent campaign imo - great story, has the least low points of any Halo game.
Halo 3: ODST - A great game with a solid story, has missions that serve like the ‘best of Halo’ moments, a hub world that works due to its mystery and noir-ish atmosphere. However, the actual combat sections in the hub world were not as fun.
Halo 1 - My least favourite Halo game from the Bungie era - a borderline ‘great’ game that hasn’t aged as well due to a huge amount of backtracking and how it plays today.
Halo 5 - A mostly solid game imo - Yes it suffers from having the weakest story and those repetitive Warden Eternal boss fights. However, the gameplay is the best it has felt in the 343i era, if not the entire series.
Halo 4 - to put it nicely, the least ‘fun’ game - it has a great story, but the actual missions were simply not fun to play through.

When I saw the above post I though it said “more excited than now”…lol
This person must have meant it in another way. With that avatar I cannot imagine not being excited for Infinite.

I deleted my comment to avoid any confusion, just to be clear I can’t bloody wait for the campaign and I couldn’t be more excited to play it, which is also what I thought the person meant.

PC usually has higher sizes. My Game Pass app tells me the size is 28GB so I hope this is the actual game size for me (XSS)
