i dont think Bobby wants to work for like <10% percent of his ATVI compensation (and i looked at Sony CEO money for comparison not Jimmy Ryans compensation)

I agree. Just want to see Kotick replace Jimbo because it would be so damn entertaining. I don’t think Riccitiello goes to Sony. But we’ll see.

You can add this to the pile of Sony being stupid, I’m amazed it was widely reported, At least it’s a start but their are more serious issues at Sony that should be covered in depth.

I don’t understand the logic in cutting out Asia/Japan presence (even when Xbox did it too). Why do you want your platform to be less global? It’s a huge huge market too. I think PS giving up Japan to Nintendo was a very dumb move (dumb enough you’ll probably see PS saying they regret it in a few years like Xbox said). It will be easier than ever for Switch 2 to get marketing rights on many major JP games and even score exclusives like MH Rise again. The small niche stuff might drop PS too (a small handful already has).
I also think it’s a little… uncomfortable? That almost the moment PS switches the leadership to the US they decide they need to start cutting out the JP side.

Still waiting for the articles about Sony’s troubles any minute now. As @Mort said, we would be seeing a media blitz about how Xbox “is in shambles”. Plenty of examples to pull from for both to see the stark difference in reaction and how long that talking point is regurgitated in said media corners.

You will probably hear nothing from Sony medias. At most a “Poor old David Jaffe, our old grand pa, we loved him but now he is senile”.
I would not quote that as a growth. They are just adding ABK profits to Xbox profits. Growth would be to gain more than the combined due to a virtuous strategic emulsion.
