Theyâre selling extremely well, now internally there does seem to be some issues but if it will affect them or not in the long run remains to be seen, probably depends on the decisions of the new leadership. I also donât think itâs just the fans that donât pay much attention to the bad news, the media is complicit, there would be several âIs Xbox doomed?â articles by now if the situation was at Xbox, they remain mostly silent when the bad news is on the blue side.
The tweets went on to say that Naughty Dog was one of those two studios, if it was Bend or someone else it may have been more possible. It is rare but it does happen⌠Bungie is a prime example (Xbox & Activision).
Still on track to release next year!

I canât help but think Bungie acquisition was a forced move on Sonyâs part to please the investors since Microsoft was cooking and it smelt too good to ignore. It reminds me of ECW wrestling when they got TV deal and so, they have to do a lot of things to make it work, which ended up costing them a lot. In short, backfired.
Whatâs sad is that Marathon, what should be their next gold mine, is delayed till 2025 and we donât even know when in that year. Hell, we donât know if it does happen. Microsoft is about to get a lot of profit just by releasing CoDMW3 next month and all other games carry forward. The game alone will do what Marathon would do and much more. Thatâs nuts.
So yeah, whatever theyâre doing, they better get things in order.

Hopefully not some shady deal where only the higher ups see the money, I wouldnât be shocked.
MS/XBOX should be picking them up since A lot of these layoffs are in publishing and community management which xbox has been lacking.
