This is what the films & Cartoons should have been like LOL.

The game looks so much ‘bloody’ fun, even the music is great & fits what is happening on screen. Can’t wait to play this on my Pro

Looks kind of stale tbh, I liked the Spider-man games, but probably won’t bother with this one (can borrow my younger brother’s PS5)

Very stale. The movies The Wolverine and Logan show that you can make interesting choices with this character but that footage made it seem like these devs are allergic to interesting choices. There was no spark. I got bored watching it. :slightly_frowning_face:

The shoulder hair though… :skull:

I was expecting to be picking up my jaw off the floor , but the visuals disappointed me a little. Something seems off, is it the lighting? Unless i am misremembering but wasn’t the lighting better in the leaks?

Also, no dismemberment?

It looked downgraded visually when compared to the first gameplay trailer to me too. I dunno there’s something off with the lighting and/or shaders with Wolverine and also Yotai IMO. Might be the colors? shaders on both games look kinda flat and cheap looking.

It not being open world would be a negative for me even if I did own a PS5 to play it - I loved the first Spider-Man game but part of that was the great traversal swinging around the big open city getting to do stuff outside the main missions (although fuck those drone missions lol, I completed them but I so hated them as the swinging wasn’t quite accurate enough!).

Seems their hardcore base is into it though, as I know it’s trendy nowadays to hate open world with a passion (same as it’s trendy to love super hard games, both trends I really hope don’t become too popular) - I imagine a lot of casual players may feel more short changed if they were used to getting a lot more playtime out of it like you can with Spider-Man

I’m glad it’s not open world. Spiderman on the PS4/PSV is vastly overrated & boring, much like Zero Dawn tbh.

Being linear means you can have far more big set pieces & go to town on action & graphics; Reasons why I would love to see Ghost Recon go back to the linear style of gameplay seen in GRAW 1/2 on the 360 instead of the open-world stuff we get now.

The game looks stunning to me, and even the music is great too

Horses for courses, we have different tastes, all good

Yeah & that’s fine.

I’m not a big fan of open-world game worlds for big-budget AAA action games myself
