I disagree with the 12 Cartridges part. There is a thing called Optimization. Resident Evil 2 fit on 1 single N64 cartridge lol. Sony just love moneyhat it their main thing.

FF7 was filled with FMV and pre rendered stuff. They used the CD to the fullest. It wouldn’t have been the same game on a cart.
