Exactly this. For Republicans, this is all about tying to make Joe Biden and the Democrats look bad. I’ve lost complete faith that our politicians actually give a shit about anything other than their petty, childish game.
Also, Jim Jordan is the most feckless, and quite frankly, dishonest person in congress. That man will say literally anything, and usually with false bravado, to make the other side look bad.
