I recently started watching Mob Psycho 100 and currently on Ep6, while I think the premise is interesting so far, I’m not really to engage with the show. I hear it’s mostly a comedy/slice of life, with action thrown in but for the most part I haven’t really clicked with Mob or Reigen.
One of my favorite tv shows of all time
I’m trying to get into it, but I guess it feels a little slow for me. 3 seasons though so I’m going to give it time to see if I can enjoy it more than I currently am. Well at least I heard it was 3 seasons.
Well, Ep6 - 8 really escalated everything and brought some really interesting story, well except Hanazawa suddenly having extra info when his episode didn’t really hint at any of that.
Heck, it made it seem like he had never met another psychic before he met Mob, so it’s kind of a hand wave situation on that. That could be explained as he never met another natural psychic, but anyways.
How true to the game is season 2 of TLOU ? Such a huge letdown after a ripping 1st season.
Not a direct answer, but… Watching any of the post show “making of” segments, everyone is extremely pleased and amazed at how well they have done for everything.

The trailer already made it quite clear that this was going to be something different and yep, it sure is. For better or worse to be honest. I have a hard time to truly say what I thought of this.
It has some incredibly powerful scenes, especially one in particular that got me teary eyed, but also some downright weird shit going on that I’m not exactly a fan of. Still, I do find this a must see.

Finally watched Furiosa (Mad Max.)
I literally cannot believe that this has a whopping 7.5 on IMDb. Mediocre acting at best. Flat characters. Cheap, completely unrealistic CGI. A nonsense plot. Constantly breaking any suspension of disbelief. A dull finale.
Are people really so easily entertained by random action scenes and pretty colours, with absolutely nothing behind it?
I thought the earlier Fury Road was a solid 7. But I can’t give Furiosa more than a 4. Very disappointing.

I didn’t get it either, I was pretty bored throughout.
I swear these days I’m more entertained by the ‘bad’ films than these highly rated films.

Yeah…. Go see F1. Joseph Kosinski cooked hard. The cinematography is stunning and I’m saying that about a racing movie. The races themselves are suspenseful and dramatic. The plot is really engaging as it progresses. The characters are all likable, believable and at times genuinely funny. Only thing that I could really critique is the runtime, you could have edited it down a good 15-30 min. It just barely overstays its welcome.
Oh yeah and after the movie I looked up who did the soundtrack becauseof course that’s fucking amazing as well. HANS ZIMMER DID IT, GO SEE THIS MOVIE.

Started watching season 2 of Dandadan, so glad they resolved that cliffhanger from season 1 quickly.
Although I feel that Momo was holding back to much during her fights and Ken was being pretty passive all things considered. But I guess they don’t want to go all out against humans.
