Too many games. It’s insane. October is a bloodbath.

Clever to end the show with Black Myth next title. Xbox version is tomorrow, so those folks will be excited to see the first title.

You’re not kidding Xbox alone is Keeper October 17, Ninja Gaiden 4 October 21, and Outer Worlds 2 October

New Lego Batman! But this seems to be singleplayer focused? I’m probably wrong, but this trailer nor the dev makes any mention of co-op and this story is very much how Wayne becomes Bats.

But I cannot imagine it won’t have co-op. I love playing Lego games with my nephews, so I hope nothing changed there.

They did mention Gordon, Batgirl, Robin as partners so maybe? Also makes no sense if this is an origin story to have them there, which makes me think it may have co-op.

Some of the Asian games looked interesting. I forgot the name but it almost seemed like GTA in anime style. I thought it looked good.

And then the platforms are shown and Xbox isn’t there, sigh. Can we just get rid of that already? It sucks.

I got tons of games in the backlog and upcoming, so I probably will end up caring very little about it, doesn’t mean it sucks that this still happens. If next Xbox indeed is more like a PC I really hope this becomes a thing of the past.

Xbox has been getting more support than from the east, but it’s still a long way from being a default platform. Even if the next official console isn’t a hybrid PC as rumors the official statements make it clear the AMD partnership is to unify the ecosystem across PC and Console. And PC is HUGE in the east. If Xbox’s OEM plans and Xbox Full screen mode software really pans out they could gain traction in the east that way. And then if the AMD partnership unifies things as mentioned that should hopefully make Xbox Play Anywhere near automatic, so more support on PC will hopefully mean more support on the console regardless of what the next official console is.

Yeah, we’re not there yet. Here’s another one.

It’s still in hill to get all these supports. Undoubtedly, it’s vastly superior compare to last gen. Just this gen, there’s more developed games coming from places that haven’t supported Xbox or think it’s worth supporting.

There was this thing with Phantom Blade Zero too. I recall the dev sayijg we should ask Xbox about if it’s coming for Xbox or something. Of all upcoming Asian games I’m most disappointed this isn’t for Xbox.

Imo, that just means they want Xbox to pay for the port. Maybe throw a Game Pass deal for extra money on top too.

Xbox can’t do that because then every studio will want Xbox to pay for their games to be on the platform.

But a Game Pass deal means that if the game they brought over with it does well for them, they would be more willing to bring another game over. But Xbox isn’t in a situation where they need to give the studio a game pass deal, unless the people making/curating them like the game.

To be fair, some of these games not releasing on Xbox are part of the Sony’s chinese initiative (their smartest move this gen imo), so it might not be just the studios not wanting to release an Xbox port but Sony not allowing it.

Yday’s show was quite mediocre for me, i’d say the best thing there was the teaser for Fallout S2.

Hoping to see the next AoE2 expansion today on the Xbox conference, maybe with a new civilization.

CoD trailer was weird, might give the campaign a try since this fall seems quite empty for me except for Football Manager.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is getting more and more interesting, even from a person who doesn’t like Hack & Slash genre, the gameplay i’ve seen from this game (and previews) were very good, could be my comeback to the genre after more than 15 years?

Outer Worlds 2 is the sad part, found the trailer and companions weak and uninspired, as much as RPG is my favorite genre, this fall is quite empty and i think Avowed wasn’t a bad game, i’m still not convinced on playing this one, maybe if it gets high 80s and good opinions from a few reviewers i trust i’ll give it a try.

But i’m praying whatever Obsidian does next is a bit more serious or old school RPG, i get the feeling they are looking for new audiences with these games with modern aesthetics, writing and humor, but i think it just doesn’t work on this genre. In Sawyer i trust

I mean changing TOW2 style will be like making HiFi Rush 2 Dark Knight. It’s the established nature. You will have to wait on a different franchise or existing franchise that suits your preference.

and another Agatha Christie game was announced with a release date this September :+1:

I just realized that it’s perfectly possible the studio behind Powerwash Simulator didn’t announce a release date when they recently announced the price, because they’ll do that today during Xbox .

Hope so!

At least I hope they clarify if it’s full game or game preview/early access.
