NEW DEMO AVAILABLE
Congrats!
Downloading the demo now.
Brutally honest feedback greatly appreciated
I just gave it a blast.
Positive:
- I like the speed of the main character, and the movement felt right.
- The feedback mechanisms (at least visually) for combat were satisfying
- The tone/style is distinct, and quite pleasing in a murky, cyberpunk/industrial way
Less positive:
- The UI is not immediately readable/clear
- The scene is quite dark - not always easy to see what’s going on
- The music is very full on, very quickly: it’s quite a jarring ‘launch’!
- I know it’s a demo but it’s not clear what my objective is (I assume just smashing shit up!)
- The audio feedback on combat wasn’t as effective as the visuals
Having some kind of combo/flow/score system for the combat would add a lot, I think.
Going to be adding a scoring system, there actually is a dynamic difficulty with the changing icons that affects rank. Going to have to clean that up.
New Demo Available
It’s finally time…
my game is now available to wishlist on Steam.

Looks really cool. Is that a top down camera as some kind of radar ?
It’s the mini map.
Quick Update: Levels have been finalized. Proceeding to near final stage of release.
I have a twitter too if you want to follow like and RT, I guess.

Good luck bro. I have an idea for an indie game roguelike/lite, is it really involved to make something with say gameboy color or genesis/megadrive tier graphics?
Gameboy color and genesis style graphics shouldn’t be too hard to manage from a technical standpoint. Getting the resources for that stuff compared to 3d is a LOT more difficult to get than 3d models and rigs. You can find free game assets on itch.io and OpenGameart.org, but you’re definitely going to be paying a lot more for resources than anything.
Thanks man, good luck with your game
if you ever start, let me know! Would like to see what you come up with.
New Demo on Steam Coming This Friday.
