I could see a couple of media sites bashing the game for clicks and engagement, lowering the score sadly.
Going off previous BGS titles, I don’t see this game scoring lower than 90 OC.
In the end, Starfield is going to be a huge success. All the discourse from fanboys are only promoting the game even more, and them just being salty that the biggest game of the year isn’t coming to their plastic box.
Nobody is going to care about this stuff when actually playing the game
Some people are under this illusion of planets having content all over it instead of a number of POI scattered here and there and then if you’ve done it all you move to the next planet or use it for resources/building outposts
It’s not like they can’t explore the rest anyway, just go to your ship and pick another spot
Every single “drama” that’s popped up for this game has been completely braindead and coming from people that aren’t even going to care about these things when they actually play the game
Edit: been spoilered, thanks mods. From what I can tell this doesn’t cover anything wasnt already known from the direct. It’s just someone talking about how they feel about the game now they’re deep in it versus early on.
This is just me, but I sometimes don’t like when a show or game overshot itself in the beginning and the rest will become same old thing or just not as captivating. Make me build up to the world beyond without overwhelm me from the get go.
