True but it does say “limited time” on the trailer from last September. We’ll see. I don’t think it’s releasing until 2023 anyway so it’s a ways off.

You mean like Sony paid Gearbox to hide the fact that Godfall was coming to PS4 too? Like with Kena? Sony is literally paying third parties to delay the announcement of PS4 versions of their games. FFXVI looks like shit, let’s be quite honest. Like “Halo 4 a fucking decade ago had better facial animations than you do” levels of shitty graphics. It’s 100% coming to PS4.
Yeah, true with Godfall but Kena has already been announced for PS4 and releases August 24th. That was never hidden. And Godfall did say other platforms six months later. It’s just that people assumed it was coming to Xbox where as it looks like it’s not and only going to be on PS4/PS5/PC.
I have no interest in FFXVI in general and maybe it will come to PS4 but it also depends on when it releases. I think it’s 2023 and I don’t see SE porting the game to PS4 and they lost their port studio to Sony.
The biggest game in the show is owned by Microsoft

Just turned the stream on after a work call and it had IGN videos playing that were talking about how Xbox is doing backwards compatibility better…bold strategy Cotton.
It did, but it was heavily implied that what the game was achieving was “only possible on PS5”. Months later the game is being down-ported to the PS4 and now we know that was PR bullshit.
At the time most people assumed the game was coming to Xbox and PC next, not PS4.
Deathloop interests me a lot. Arkane guys under the spotlight is a good thing. Their games are so underlooked and underrated.

I agree but I don’t remember anyone saying only possible on PS5. I know other games said that but Godfall? It’s a looter slasher. Nothing special.
