I think the moment people stop watching this shit show is when we might actually get something in its place that isn’t just some overlong trailer showcase, with the occasional recognition of the work devs actually do, sandwiched between the massive void of charisma from the host.

I have BG3 as my GOTY, but HiFi rush deserves to be nominated just for being original and creative, compared to a lot of games in the AAA industry.

Also, fanboys being happy Starfield not being nominated( I didn’t think it will anyway) is pathetic, mostly because the devs worked hard to make these games. I hope Todd Howard gets motivated and make ES6( A more denser scoped world compared to Starfield) the best RPG/Simulation it can be, especially the advent of AI.

Also, don’t care about TGA’s, it’s a wannabe Oscars/Grammy. I put more weight on DICE

Final Fantasy XIV (Square Enix)

Fortnite (Epic Games)

Genshin Impact (HoYoverse)

These are last year’s games, literally just switch out destiny 2 for Cyberpunk. Same people nominating every year = same games nominated.
