Can’t believe that they didn’t show any gameplay/combat or the world or anything. UGH. My guess like Nick’s is a November release which makes not showing anything even weirder since it’s five months away.

Genki on Twitter believes that it could end up looking like the cancelled Wii U Zelda game where Link was fighting a spider inside a church. I hope this turns out to be true!!

I bet Nintendo cut their showing short because Nate had said he expected OoTmake to be there with a likely the most screen time to show it off.

So now they need to prepare a OoTmake direct to make up for cutting it to spite Nate.

Beat OoT on n64, gamecube and 3ds. not really excited. Maybe 15 years ago

Some old Nintendo endless sequels & now remakes. Why people hold this corp in such high regard for gaming baffles me

I have prob replayed less than 5 games in my entire adult life and ocarina on 3ds was one of them. Not sure why this needs another version but will prob play it for a reason to turn my switch on. I have completed every single main line Zelda game going all the way back to the original in 1986. It’s prob the last Nintendo series that keeps me buying their hardware. But even that is starting to run thin. I’m more curious about the next game. Maybe we hear more about that as the movie gets closer.

Agreed. We at least got a pointer as to the graphical fidelity, but it wouldn’t have hurt to give us a bit more!

I loved this on N64 back in the day. Haven’t played it for 25 years or whatever. It works for me personally because I can throw it under the Christmas tree as a filler present. My kid will get the brief Christmas moment of opening a videogame present but really it will be one of the games I get him every year because it’s something I wanted :laughing: He gets spoiled don’t worry, he will get plenty of shit he wants, this is just how I sneak in an extra gift for Dad every year. :santa_claus:
