We’ve seen plenty of 3rd parties look to do time deals with SONY, even this gen, but far more importantly given PlayStation accounts for 40% of the entire SONY empire, SONY is not going to pull of out of the console game.

SONY isn’t going to pull out of the console market. You & I know it; Playsation now accounts for 40% for SONY’s business & profits

Closing down old storefronts is a silly comeback IMO, does Microsoft support the likes of Windows 8 these days? Are XBOX 360’s LIVE Arcade games still up on the storefront?

Most of the better PS3 games I can play thanks to streaming on the PS5. We know SONY will make and bring out the PS6, I can’t be so sure about XBOX making a new console & releasing it these days, that’s the difference

Sony isn’t pulling out of the console market, but based on what we’ve already seen them do, what’s to stop them wiping people’s digital libraries for whatever arbitrary reason they come up with. Let’s not pretend Sony is some infallible entity here. Also as much BS is coming out of Microsoft I really don’t see them cancelling a console considering contracts they have with manufacturers , whether or not something comes after Helix is up in the air with Satya running things.
