fr i’m kind of puzzled here, how 2022 year went over their head ? when you look at output of XGS in this year is kind of zero.

I think it’s too early but imagine worst case scenario for 2022 that could have happened : Bethesda buyout fails / doesn’t happen + Starfield is PS5 exclusive as initially rumored. lol.

In terms of XGS output stricly, I think XGS will release Forza Motorsports in 2022 but no idea beyond that. (I read somewhere that Grubb believes Grounded 1.0 may be 2023 (not sure if it’s exact). In addition of As Dusk Falls and expansions for SoT/Halo/FH5/AoE4.

Potential tag is a very dangerous things and we do see how that can flounder in sports. I feel future is now and Microsoft has to react to retaining and gaining subs and you do that by making gamers feel good about releases on service.

At the moment the 23 studios can’t produce releases every quarter , which is why Microsoft is currently at stage of needing to rely on third party to satisfy hunger . Also the goal fir a subscription service is to make subs shrug at the idea of unsubbing or questioning value so you’ll leave sub on

they need to fund more games from 3P, they can’t buy studios as fast funding content, the content should be mix AA-AAA games. content is the key. you can’t rely on 3P all of the time

Why Redfall should be delayed? There are no indications about that, I get Stalker 2.
