Is Crossfire X campaign not coming to game pass? If it’s suppose to be one if their exclusives this(last) year, is Microsoft not publishing the game?
Nope, a unique weird case of a weird game.

As of now, it’s not coming to Game Pass. Not sure who’s publishing the game.
SmileGate and Xbox Games Studio Publishing are publishing it

So basically, Microsoft via Global Publishing is publishing the game but it’s not coming to Game Pass. That’s definitely weird. I guess they couldn’t reach a deal with Smilegate/Remedy.
AAA game from critically acclaimed studio Remedy. Xbox exclusive. Less than a month away. What is going on here? Hopefully the silence is that Xbox is busy negotiating a Day 1 Gamepass deal and that this game is going to be amazing.
There’s already been a hands on preview from ign. The results were very mundane. Don’t expect much
Crossfire X feels like Remedy pulling a Platinum to me and taking on too much at once. I hope I’m wrong.

Haha I have that exact same feeling.
XGS relinquished the rights to Smilegate I think. The game’s webpage now lists Smilegate as the publisher instead of MS. Weird game.

I feel like this too. I feel like they’re taking Xbox’s money and investing it into things other than what they were paid to make.
Really hate that we’ve seen this happen before too. What can Xbox do to prevent this?

yea, his twitter is great lol
Several previews weren’t exactly positive about CrossfireX either, sadly.
CrossfireX is not coming to gamepass, I think they just showed it at that presentation where they said everything shown is coming to GP, and that confused ppl.
Which is just strange and I cannot imagine this being on Xbox. Probably the pub not wanting it or whatsoever. Matt Booty did say it’s not always a money matter.
But Xbox hasn’t been the most lucky with third party deals. Scorn, Stalker 2 both delayed of which the former many times and let’s just hope it finally sees the light of day this year. Stalker 2 for like some here said almost seemed like Vaporware until it showed up at Xbox show.
CrossfireX which according to several sources that played it isn’t all that, a shame since it’s coming from Remedy, so what gives? Also not on Game Pass. Let’s hope Dark Tide just comes out this spring, that’s the new date, right?
CrossfireX seems headed to obscurity: multiple delays, light/non-existant marketing, no GP, both sp and mp have not too hot previews…I mean, it really seems the usual questionable 3rd party Xbox (timed) exclusive, on top of being a very rare thing, I’d choose more wisely honestly.

Yeah in terms of third party deals it hasn’t been all that great. I thought The Medium was just decent, nothing too special. The Gunk was a huge meh for me after the fantastic Steamworld Dig games, Scorn is definitely a wait and see thing too. I do expect Dark Tide to be just as good as Vermintide 2 or better and the new Plague Tale absolutely too.
