This is not out of line with the movie streaming services.

this is reality here when and how MS would bring new big content ? they can’t pull out big games out of thin air
The thread is fine for discussing what could happen, but making predetermind statements about the state of gamepass in the next couple months is kinda worthless because big day one games either will be annonced in a show (A plague Tale Re) or 1 or 2 weeks in advance.
This exactly! And I would say it’s been pretty civil in here too .
Nobody is making anyone click on this thread, it’s their decision to do so. The thread doesn’t interest you? Then you just don’t visit it.
If you go through the history of Game pass for the last few years they average roughly one big AAA game (new or old) a month on the service already.
Man this is a crazy concept really .
If we get something like Dying Light and Elden Ring later this year I would be ok too.
This thread is simply a referendum on certain personal desires and tastes. Hell we have posters in here complaining about games they own or co-op shooters. It has nothing to do with business side of gamepass. I don’t think anyone in this thread is seriously considering cancelling their sub, so what are we really talking about here?

Exactly! This is how it should look once the first party can supply the big AAA day 1’s. When that is not possible they should secure some 3rd party AAA day 1’s. Like this spring, which is what has been discussed.
I’m not baiting anyone.
So we arent being unreasonable asking for a Dying Light, Elden Ring, King of Fighters or like the Strangers of Paradise game?

Tell Xbox to add Guardians next even tho Ive played it - would be great for the service.
Also why arent like old ass hell Call of Duty games not in the service? Id like to play some campaigns lol.

It’s an outlandish concept it seems.
This is a strawman argument. Asking for big games on the service is what everyone is doing. Expectations vs. reality management is a completely different thing.

We really had people complaining because they already own the game? Not in this thread, I didn’t see them. Today I did say I already have Hitman 1 and 2, but that’s my problem, also that having Hitman 3 on it is great. I gave nothing but praise. And again, I don’t recall people really complain that they already have these games.

People are arguing against this type of false premise. No one has said “no I don’t want big games on game pass”. They’ve simply stated that Xbox cannot force companies to put games on the service and they can’t start overpaying or else it jacks up the price for the future as well.

I think some ppl don’t understand this mainly bc they see somethin like Football Manager and/or Mass Effect Remasters like huge additions. add to that months full of games like Skatebird, puperazzi and you suddenly question if maybe those 13€ you just paid are better spent on a pizza.
FM and old games remasters should be like second plate, not the main additions.
