I loved starfox 64. And At least I hear Age of Calamity is stable now on the Switch 2. It ran…not great on Switch 1. I would have taken the Pokopia bundle hehe though Bananza looks pretty good too. Metroid Prime 1 is one of my favorite games - great music and atmosphere, I hope you enjoy it. Prime 2 is also really good, just as good as the first game. I didn’t like Prime 3 because it was more of a shooter than an adventure game and had Wii controls. Enjoy black flag

Thanks bud. Appreciate it!

Calamity is a steady locked 30FPS on Switch 2 where as on the original, it dropped to the teens. I would have preferred to choose my own game (hehehe) but Donkey Kong Bananza was the best option of the three for me especially since I already own MKW. lol

I may continue MPR later today or Wednesday as im working tomorrow. I wanted to play through three Nintendo games before Black Flag but I think that I will just try to beat MPR instead of trying to squeeze three games in.

I hope Nintendo remaster 2 and 3 but we’ll see. I will always find it weird when companies remaster one game in a series or trilogy. It makes no sense to me but just have to wait and see.

I’m going through Wuchang Fallen Feathers right now and enjoying it. Game is definitely a looker and feels like a much more approachable Souls game. The level design is great and some of the best I’ve seen a long time and the boss fights have been super satisfying. Nothing overly BS, just takes a few fights before you learn the moveset and can go to work.

Just start Breath of Fire 4 on GoG! I’m so happy to have this game be available somewhere it was my favorite BoF game, with 3 being a close second.

Finished Gears of War 3 and currently on Act 4 for Gears of War 4, since I have started gaming more on PC I have been testing things out to get a better understanding of how to get things to work as best as I can. So far, having the performance overlay on the Game Bar has really helped in getting the best settings I can with FSR.

But I think I will try to see what I can do without it, as I want to see how well I can optimize my experience in games without it.

Also was checking out my stats in Halo and I really didn’t put too much time into MCC, as I have never had an interest in Halo MP. But that time exploded in Halo 5 with more than 10x the time spent playing the game, I unfortunately fell right off Halo Infinite, I put more time into it than MCC but I didn’t get anywhere close to Halo 5.

Finished Final Fantasy XVI and it’s two dlcs. I’d rate the game a solid 9/10. I really liked the art direction, and the areas you visited in the base game. The boss fights were one of the highlights of the game, they sort of reminded me of Asura’s Wrath. My favorite Eikons were Bahamut, Leviathan and Ramuh or Shiva. The combat started extremely basic and repetitive but by the end of the game you have a lot of options. I’m yet to play a final fantasy I didn’t like. The DLC Echoes of the Fallen was pretty mediocre imo, but The Rising Tide was a solid 7.5/10. I was level 51 by the time I fought the final boss and it was surprisingly easy.

I’ve got about 11 hours in DOA6LR since it came out. I’m ranked E+ online so far. I’m going to play another jrpg, either Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster, Tales of Vesperia (replay), Unicorn Overlord or Metaphor ReFantazio. Looking to go back to Forza Horizon 6 as well

Currently doing a new play through of Cyberpunk 2077 along with Breath of Fire 4, I got the games recently on sale at GoG with 18 other games. There have been a lot of changes to the UI, specifically the character UI since I played last on Xbox One.

So amongst all the bad news this year the only positive thing is how high quality the games are so let’s talk about them.

A few days ago I finished 007 First Light, what a great game…it exceeded my expectations in every aspect and I’ve read many positive things about it. It’s a cinematic action/adventure game but infused with IO’s DNA which is what makes it so unique and fun, also replay value is quite strong in this game when this is not usually the case for this kind of game which is awesome. It is amazing that this generation we got excellent Indy and Bond games, both MachineGames and IO delivered in every aspect.

Also yesterday I started Revelations which is amazing, everything is a step-up from the campaign so far - level design, art-direction/graphics, music, combat encounters are all top-notch. Spear is such a fuckin’ badass weapon…Nightmare has been a good challenge too. Can’t wait to play more tonight!

FH6 is my forever game so I am still doing some races here and there but mainly playing multiplayer, I want to focus more on the stories next since I barely touched them.

Had a couple moments in my most recent session of Black Flag Resynced that felt like actual achievements.

Mainly when I completed the last Templar hunt where I needed to clear out a formidable naval blockade. I kept getting killed by those fuckers, so when I FINALLY slew them, I wanted to sing a chanty and dance a jig over their graves. Then I killed the final Templar twat and earned some decent gear

Really loving this game

Have pretty much been focusing on Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, so far I’m still in the opening area of the game, Watson. Because Regina has no chill with her missions and we can do all 23 of them before even planning the opening heist, now 22 hours later I’m going to go to the Afterlife to plan and talk shop about the main story mission,

Finished The Entropy Centre. Probably the best Portal inspired game.

Spent a couple hours today doing my Nick OCD impersonation while visiting. a few islands in Black Flag and doing every single thing in those areas. So fun doing even the most menial tasks in that game. After Pragmata, it’s the best game I’ve played from this year, so far

Got to Temple of the Ancients in the og Final Fantasy VII. Apparently this is near the halfway point. I still need to beat II, III, IV, V, VI, IX and X-2 and then I’ve beaten every mainline FF game.

Taking a break from JRPGs. I’m playing Dead or Alive 6 Last Round, Forza Horizon 6 and Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires. Thinking about picking up the Doom: Dark Ages expansion. I did an online race in FH6 for the first time last night and that was pretty fun.

In all seriousness, I played a bit more Black Flag Resynced and am on the last few assassin missions. Had SO much trouble locating this one in a place called San Juan. Not sure if that’s the actual island or the one I know, which is the capital of Puerto Rico. Had to go through a sunken ship, into a cave through a friggin whirlpool. Almost drowned, it was thrilling

Edit: Has to Puerto Rico. The only island I could find called San Juan is by fucking Seattle
