I clearly stated supposedly and looking for a better source. I respect myself more than Microsoft respects the xbox brand.
I am too. But maybe the remaining 70 people will finish up with the support of the current version, and blend in with Turn 10 for Fable, Horizon and any future IP (including Motorsport)?
Unfortunately I think the future is just Horizon now.
I think it unfortunately means a new game isnāt going to come anytime soon (maybe not till a new hook or game changing technology), but hopefully it does mean theyāll still be supporting, updating and adding to the current one for a long while yet
I know. Itās why I have to explain it.
Ah lol my bad, I read it as a telling off ![]()
Iām British, so 90% of chatter with friends, family and colleagues is sarcasm so I think itās my default read of everything!
I think itās getting 343i treatment. It will bounce back if all goes smoothly going forward. The crazy thing is both games, Halo and Forza, were set to be live platform, basically dismissing any sequels for a very long period of time. Clearly, that didnāt work, so if they can bounce back, they can go back to what made them special.
I like Horizon, but⦠just gutted if that turns out to be the case. ![]()
I believe next Motorsport is next gen. The current game was designed to hold us off until next gen, like how Nintendo does it for Mario Kart.
I like the optimism.
I wonder if it might just get a next gen patch given it already looks amazing - it needed more content etc and a new game just resets the issue potentiallyā¦
Itās not like Horizon where they go to new places, they can just add maps to it - Iām thinking weāll see the next one when they can honestly say itāll do something new and never seen beforeā¦
Someone got to.
Thatās what I meant. Calm down, youāre jumping on everything without thinking about it.
We donāt call for firing anyone here.
Take a look outside to cool your head as you seem on edge from your few posts here.

Theoretically Forza Motorsport is the perfect candidate for a long-running service game. FM8 was a bit of a stumble as a base to build on, but the idea is solid.
Friendly reminder that as a general standing rule, folks should not call for people to be fired.
They have 40-something games in development.
Just to keep things in perspective, 70 MILLION people lose their job every year. Gamers get way too invested in this stuff, just because itās gaming related.
And oddly enough you never see anyone praising Microsoft for hiring thousands of people per year.
