I hope they can comprehend this move. If they still have this mind set of killing Xbox, let this be the case of karma then. Honestly, this is the right move for Sony. This is one and only successful live service game; why leave it at that. That said it can lead to Pandora box and now people can expect at least live service or publishing title to come to Xbox.
Itās childish of course and unbecoming of actual adults but for those in here (& elsewhere) whoāre a bit sick and tired of the dooming and hating on Xbox, then thereās some salty tears flowing in the other forums and on social media right now over the Helldivers 2 Xbox port.
I said years ago Iām all for multiplatform if itās a two way street. Hell yes. Give us everything and vice versa. Helldivers 2 is a good start. I understand things donāt happen overnight but I also hope to see Silent Hill 2 Remake later this year (because weāve got Black Myth Wukong coming as well).
Iām certain SH2 Remake will come to Xbox and very likely to release this year.

I do think that Konami should embrace the play anywhere strategy from xbox, a good portion of their games got it this year(Suidoken, new silent hill game and the eden zero game), it would raise a lot of awareness towards the xbox playerbase and even some pc users.
They seem to get the memo right off the gate. Capcom should embrace for more, though to their credit, they did manage to enable some older titles, like RE2 and 3.
I wonder if people would prefer Perfect Dark getting cancelled, or getting a āRedfail 2.0ā in a couple of years. (āPathetic Darkā perhaps? Iām sure someone can come up with something better.)

Thereās a good reason many Xbox fans left that site. I remember when people were all like āiās ok for Xbox fans to come here! Itās nothing like Neogafā when the site first started and I took a wait and see approach and just like I thought, old Neogaf under a new name (and itās not just console war stuff that site has gone full mask off about either) MS fucking up just lets them troll and console war unimpeded ,so long as itās Xbox. Same shit as Neogaf during the Xbox One launch.

More news coming up about the cancelled Zos MMO, from Schreier he says that the people who said it was incredible were playtesters. The game also didnāt seem ti be having dev issues.
From IGN, Zos had only now started scaling up to get development going recently. My guess it was the hiring they were doing not to long ago.
So it sounds to me like the game wouldnāt be in full development for a while.

Probably the same folks who right now on Icon Era are threatening to quit PlayStation because of gasps Helldivers 2 getting ported to Xbox.
Thereās a bunch of people whoāve been left to live on the periphery of society for decades now and theyāve become gamingās own Wrong Turn meets The Hills have Eyes. Sony Ponies of course.

Iām always confused about BDS against Xbox . Is it because parent company Microsoft ? I think people never thought about how hard it is to just drop an ecosystem . People have spent thousands of dollars on Xbox and itās not easy for many to just buy a new piece of hardware and repurchase games
Also I remember reading that Sony for example sold surveillance cameras that is used by the idf , so do we also boycott PlayStation ? Then we have Apple and google who also that are also involved ? So do we stop using smartphones ?
I understand itās a very serious issue but I feel big tech is heavily involved and it doesnāt seem possible to fully boycott these companies because most are involved and the average person doesnāt have the money to find an ethical replacement imo

Using events in the middle-east to demand (yes, demand, which is whatās going on over on era) a boycott of Xbox is so gross and shameless itās difficult to put into words. Itās the ultimate act of mature fanboyism in which real life events are inserted into the conversation with a heavily biased appraisal to fit a narrative and agenda. Itās what happens when 40 years who havenāt grown up go console warring.
Because if weāre going to go āthereā, aka to the IDF and all that, then people should start boycotting the IRS considering how the US government backs Israel. Itās that simple. Or Hollywood for that matter as well.

They are targeting Xbox as itās the more consumer-facing part of Microsoft. Also, whilst the IDF may have purchased Sony cameras, Sony did not have their engineers work alongside the IDF to implement the tech, so letās not conflate with Microsoft willingly selling their services to the IDF.

Yep, I think it was last year with the what games were publishing on PS and so many were claiming to trade in their Xbox for a PS and/or just plain boycotting.
Thank you, I wasnāt familiar with it which had me confused why Xbox is paying for sins of parent company. That makes more sense

MS is dragging the Xbox down, but itās probably only thing holding it up after Don Mattrickās Era.

Iām on board until you mentioned Sony but neglected to mention Sony Semiconductor - an Israeli Sony branch that directly supplies semiconductors, in partā¦ to the Israeli government. Thatās why calling it hypocrisy is accurate; Iām all for principle boycotts, but I loathe inconsistency and a lack of integrity, which would apply to those that boycott Xbox for the situation but not Sony, they are just as bad.
And targeting the market leader would have more impactā¦ but I know logic isnāt actually at play here.
