Speaking of which, Sony didn’t have anything about Arkane or Deathloop at their stream, but we did have the voice actor of one of the characters recently teasing a new project.

I guess they can’t mention Deathloop until the exclusivity period ends which is September, though that tease is suspicious…maybe if it’s a standalone game like Death of the Outsider or a Definitive Edition of Deathloop (like the Ninja Gaiden Sigma games) they could announce it without getting into trouble? hmmm…

“Too boring” is often a draw for me. I love slow burn stuff a lot.

Slice of Life is often best life for me.

I’m thinking that Deathloop gets a trailer in late September, is released within the same week and that’s pretty much it. The marketing deal prevents Microsoft from obviously marketing it for Xbox and since it should be a one and done, there’s no real reason for them to go all out for it. But on the positive side, Deathloop for Xbox Series is pretty much guaranteed for the Fall once the marketing deal expires.

There is indeed that possibility, that what the voice actor teased was PS related, but he did call it a new project and had the hashtags for Deathloop. Sounds more like a DotO kind of thing and doubtful that Sony has a deal for that.

Slice of Life is often best life for me.

That’s what I like about the Trails games. Lots of slow burn slice of life stuff and then some of the hypest shit in JRPGs.

Considering the fact that the game didn’t do well at all sales wise, I would be very surprised if that happens.

For Sony just knowing you block Xbox out of the game for an extra year may be worth it

Okay I looked it up. The PS4 version was announced at Paris Games Week 2015 and then Xbox announced it for XB and PC at E3 2016.

I think the days of weirdly spaced platform announcements like that are over though.
