Last year was pretty good. Definitely feel like this year will be miles better though.
I think that Avowed will skip this showcase and will be the xbox game shown off at the game awards. And Tango will show their next game.
Agreed.
This E3 and the year is all about Starfield, always was.
One game per year… that is going to take a while lol.
There will be more games this year lol, I just think Starfield is the main event though.
Avowed is releasing early-mid 2023… it will be shown at this showcase…
No question… considering it got pulled in 2021, they’ll have something 12 months later. ![]()
You do realise that the show isn’t going to be dedicated to games solely releasing in 2022.
But Xbox doesnt release games in the first half of the year, so theres always next E3 for 2023 games…

Of course. I just think in terms of Avowed, Todd Howard won’t want any risk of being upstaged. This is his dream game, and I think he wants all the headlines.
Its why I think Avowed won’t be revealed until TGAs ir even next year.
Unless Todd is a ultra egotist (which I very much doubt), I’m sure he’ll be content sharing the stage with another RPG…
I guess we see. Looking at the messaging so far, it’s all Starfield. Zero mention of Avowed. The marketing campaign is starting to ramp up big time.
Well, why would they mention Avowed when it’s not coming out this year… lol
MS have such depth that they can give each game its own time. Avowed being the main focus for 2023 etc.
Why show the game off when Starfield will just overshadow it?
Because if it’s releasing in early-mid 2023 (quite likely)… we need a update.
I mean using your logic, no game should be at the showcase apart from Starfield.
Shut the thread down and cancel the event guys
Why show any other game at all when starfield will overshadow it? The games are both able to stand on their own in the same showcase, they are different enough.
Nah, it’s a marketing cycle and they are very much all in with Starfield, now. Forza, Redfall will be there of course.
Avowed is the big holiday game for 2023 I believe btw
Avowed and Starfield will be competing in the same awards in terms of best of E3 showings, it just makes sense to hold back Avowed until next E3.
