A huge one isn’t it? At least for me, comparing announcements only, this seems like the biggest DD so far.
I’m always for bigger games over more games for this kind of shows, and the games i appreciate the most are the ones that haven’t been shown gameplay from yet (Fable was technically shown but like on a couple seconds sections).
Very curious about the RPG elements on Fable, and how far they pushed the graphics (same for FH6 here)
Not expecting a fourth game but in case there is, it would be cool to see CD Projekt back on another Xbox show (Witcher 3 exp?), also, the future GOTY Slay the Spire 2 still has no fixed date and it’s releasing very soon, would be great to see one of these in the show.
It’s possible to arrive Q4 like Indiana Jones, but time will tell. It’s either Forza or Fable that will release first half and then second half for the next.
My guess is that Forza is first to release, but i guess tou just never know. If the games are done i am sure they can find a way to stay out of the november month.
I’ve had the impression for a long time that while Shinobi does legitimately have friends in the industry who tell him things before the general public knows them, he’s also very adept at using obvious or easily guessable things to make his access seem more than it actually is. Like this example is a case in point.
Clout? That dopamine hit for when you feel important as if your life suddenly becomes the center of attention? The powertrip from holding information over an event and being able to spoil it. These are basically the pillars of social media itself. Leaks and rumors generate buzz and traffic. Everyone wants buzz and traffic.
Driving game content creators received Forza Horizon 6 promotional packs just before Christmas. It’s a fairly strong indication it’s the first of the four to drop.
Super hyped for Fable and looking forward to seeing Beast of Incarnation from Game Freak. I’m expecting two other games as they’ve done five games on every Developer Direct since it’s inception in January 2023. I wouldn’t be shocked to see that Double Fine game Kiln or whatever it’s called and a second third party game which im hoping will be Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
Can’t wait to see Fable. Definitely a franchise that never realised its full potential, but has a great chance with Playground at the helm now. I think it’s a game for the latter half of the year, but not long to find out.
