if it gets a locked 30fps experience at the graphics that the technical beta showed then its a win for everyone.
Expecting 60fps is naive for those consoles.

Yep absolutely
I dont doubt 343 will try and aim for 60fps but if it compromises the experience they will lock it at 30fps and thats it.
Yea I trust them on that but I’m already on series x so I’m not affected by this
Who the hell plays on Xbox One anyway?
(this is a joke)
Unpopular Take:
It Halo Infinite Xbox One runs and looks like shit, cancel it then offer xCloud version same day.
Offer mutliplayer only and campaign on xCloud.
There’s no actual evidence it does though so why have this opinion.
It’s a good backup plan to have just in case.
I mean they were trying to get Flight Sim to run on a base Xbox One before chucking it and going with the xCloud option.
It’s a solid backup plan for situations like this.
But we literally just had a technical preview run great…
I said IF…
I was entertaining a solution to a problem that was rumored.
Certainly wouldn’t want a CP2077 bungle on VCR Xbox One’s.
Plenty of cross-gen games are dropping to 20 FPS frequently on the base Xbox One, I don’t think it’s a big deal if the same happens with Halo Infinite. I mean obviously fanboys are going to attempt to make it a big deal, but it’s a dated piece of hardware at this point. But anyway the technical preview ran pretty well and there’s still a few months left of optimization so I’m not concerned whatsoever.
The rumor is based on a completely unconfirmed source of information while actual evidence shows the complete opposite. There’s almost no point in discussing this further.
Wouldn’t know… I didn’t get in the flight ![]()
Cold War was like 900p with drops into 40fps … lol
Battlefield V on Xbox One was mostly 720p with drops into 40fps also.
I dont get your point.
Not trying to single you out, but this is why we don’t really want people to come in and claim to have sources of information that they’re unable to substantiate or prove immediately. The last few hours of discussion has been dominated by a random rumor that has no basis and isn’t being provided by someone with a credible or reliable background. This is just one example of why we aren’t interested in a forum filled with “insiders” claiming information.
But however, I do feel that xCloud versions on Xbox One’s offers are truly special solution to the problem of cross-gen games.
While I personally feel that Xbox One could probably be left behind if it’s too difficult to do a decent version of (not just Halo, any XGS/Bethesda game), I think passing it on as a xCloud native app or version is a great solution.
It’s what supposed to be done for Flight Sim, and we’ll probably see in the future with the true next-gen stuff.
yes it did.
Lol… Skullzi made an “educated guess” that there will be another Skyrim remaster because…
The above is from E3 this year. He bases that on this and their pattern from the last few years. I have no idea what this project could be they speak of but come on now.
To play Devil’s advocate here we haven’t seen the Xbox one run the campaign with a big world and multiple stuff going on. I’m not joining the debate or anything personally i’m just stating that Campaign is where we might see issues with the One if there is any.
I’m hoping it comes out fine for people who have an Xbox one.
