Xbox Game Studios |OT7| Killer News Here!?

I realize that

There wasn’t much doubt about TES VI exclusivity, but I was expecting to hear it from the horse’s not until after Starfield, like really close to actually launch of TES VI.

It’s very good to hear it from the man himself. THIS is how you get Game Pass into an even bigger thing than it already is. Love it.

He actually went a bit further than that, but maybe you’re saving that for another article

" And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI . That would be true when I think about any of our franchises"

He needs to rub it in. Let the interviewer also off the Koolaid. Lol

Yes. It’s like huge companies are acting like assholes, waiting for the last drop for decisive action.

It’s just business and that’s it Wars are only fought on forums

The main consumer of a franchise like Star Wars won’t wait for some exclusivity to expire somewhere. They will just buy this game on pc or Ps5.

The same situation with Tes 6, if in theory it was a temporary exclusive. But, it is permanent, so it is not doubly relevant.

Yeah, it is, also unrelated to 1st party output, it’s 3rd party where is Xbox is still weak.

KOTOR is actually second party support timed exclusive. dead rising 4 was timed exclusive on Xbox, same concept.

Naah, they only publish the console version, is to add credibility to the bullshit move, moneyhatting Star Wars games is a new low. Otherwise they would have screamed all over the rooftops the permanent exclusive.

It’s more like a third-party timed exclusive. As second party would mean it was funded fully by Microsoft, Nintendo, Playstation, etc. and that wasn’t really the case as far as we know. Sony paid for timed exclusivity but the project was already in development. It’s still coming to other platforms since Sony paid for the exclusivity, not the development. Hence why its only launching on Playstation and I think PC.

Let’s say TES VI is 2025 or 2026, could we have a mid gen refresh around that time? No way the new gen though.

I have to be honest and I think the chances of getting a midgen refresh are getting increasingly slim due to the chip shortages that shows no sign of abating. It makes little sense to offer a console primarily aimed at upgraders when you can’t satisfy demand for first time buyers.

I’m not big on multiplayer so a shadow drop of HI multi won’t do much for me. I’ll take an in game flyover of a section of Albion as a consolation prize though.

  • That was a very good and enjoyable anniversary stream for Xbox 20. Looking forward to the Xbox documentary and the Halo TV show in 2022.

  • The Elder Scrolls VI being exclusive is a shock to no one. I said in September 2020 that any new future release would be exclusive to Xbox/PC excluding Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo. At best, Sony and/or Nintendo would get a remaster or anniversary port of years/decades old games. Enjoy!!! lmao

  • I’m very much looking forward to the KOTOR Remake and regardless, why would anyone want Sony to fail with this game when it goes on Xbox a year minimum later? Why would anyone want the game to be bad? I’m expecting an easy 8+ and wouldn’t be shocked if it’s a 9+. Especially since I never played the originals and no, im not going to do so as I will just wait for the Remake and of course, I want it to be excellent.

Good or bad, the original is still available to be played on Xbox so when 5hey inevitably change something and/or screw up the storyline somehow, the original will still be there.

Over 100k playing Halo on steam right now! Going up by the hundreds every couple seconds
