I mean, As Dusk Falls my most single anticipated game of 2022, (unless there’s more Halo expansions) just got rated in Korea.
So within the next 3-5 months it’s probably coming out, and I have no idea how they’re going to show it off, aside from Blogposts and Game Informer covers.

Problem is most people’s idea of “evolve” usually amounts to “copy what’s out and popular now”. Nothing plays like Gears. Nothing wrong with ACTUAL innovation and evolution , but change for change sake is never good and if people don’t like it they can simply play something else. Frankly Hivebusters was a good look at where this series should go. Great shooting fun set pieces that is what i expect from Gears. Open world doesn’t really work as well as it did in Halo IMO. I don’t want crafting or “light rpg” shit in it either. Feel free to flag or whatever, this is the last ill speak of Gears in this thread.

The light RPG elements are some of the best elements of Halo Infinite tho.

343i Nailed the open world exploration so hard it’s not even funny. I have no intention of returning to MP until i am done with it. There is so much to find, so many ways to attack a situation. Last night i freed a bunch of Marines from a Banished camp, we trekked back to the fob where i outfitted them with power weapons and we stormed a larger Banished encampment and slaughtered every living thing inside it. It’s Combat Evolved on crack!
