Xbox Game Studios |OT7| Killer News Here!?

Imagine the first next gen only Halo expansion we get, snowy biome, massive rendered part of the ring :weary::weary::weary:

Underrated aspect that I appreciate is cutscenes being consistent weapons wise with what you are carrying.

Hated going into a scene with a shotgun and the character model defaulted to something else.

Snow you say?? The flood would like to talk…

I noticed this a little bit ago and it had the assault rifle that I was using which was cool. Must admit that Halo Infinite is completely winning me over. In fairness, I have no attachment or emotional investment into Halo in any way, shape or form so that may be a part of why it’s winning me over.

About halfway through the story and just did an FOB so it put some stuff on the map despite thinking I was done already with that region. lol.

Been saying this ad nauseam with references. Just going to start reposting this every time that stupid argument is brought back up if that’s cool @Klobrille

Waiting for this. I expect some Steam punk world with the big battles of Stellaris. Hope to see also Land armies.

While i’m not a fan of games with Steampunk atmoshpera, RPG’s are my favourite genre, and this year confirmed what most of us thought, and many other people refused to believe, that MS acquiring all these studios wasn’t like just paying for exclusive stuff, but helping them grow quickly, so we had Double Fine doing the game with the best overall impressions from the people this year, Playground developing another almost perfect game with the best graphics seen in a console, and also NT showing HB2 which is also the best looking game announced on any console.

This hypes me even more for some future games from MS studios like inXile, Obsidian or even Undead Labs , which were obviously very limited by their budget and development time limit.

It’s going to be huge to see inXile being able to create their first 1st person AAA RPG, or the obvious step up we’ll see from the next projects from the other MS studios just like we just saw with Ninja Theory

Where’s this from? The inXile game?

Can someone explain why a lot of XGS games don’t have photo mode? WTF guys c’mon.

Gears 5 and Halo Infinite, I’m pretty sure there are others as well. Matt, do your thing and ‘force’ them to have photo mode in every game :philwins:

No, OXide games, project Indus. It Will be a RTS 4x game for PC and Xbox. Something like Halo wars + Humankind and civilizations.

That sounds pretty good, I haven’t touched an RTS game in years, so I will definitely try it. I’m sure it will hit PC Game Pass so that’s one less barrier to at least try it.

Games I think will be revealed in 2022.

Compulsions new IP.

Zenimax Online next.

Obsidian Josh Sawyer project.

Inexile small project

You saw the game? Could you then tell us if it’s close to the last minute of the trailer last year? Many people thought that was in-game, really looked like it. Still looks great, what you saw does it come close to that?

Avowed, that is.

Reasonable, but I expect more stuff from Bethesda.

But let’s see InXile’s “big” project first, we don’t even know if they have a small project do we?

That’s my struggle :skull:

Almost finish myself, but keep seeing stuff on the map and saying to myself “ok just one more…” lol, loving the story and the characters much more than i thought i would, it has really pulled me in and has me hooked, 343 nailed it.

Don’t think there is an InXile small project. There is a big project and then a project after that one (we don’t know much about the scope of the second game. All we know is it’s in early pre production). I assume it’s the next major game the studio will go to after Cobalt is complete.

I think you’re overthinking things

“You acquire a studio for what they’re great at now, and your job is to help them accelerate how they do what they do, not them accelerate what you do,” said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. i really hope phill will stay true to his words
