People hype it because sony did it probably
The trigger feedback is awful
I’m someone who turns off vibration so all of the dualsense features are just a next level of annoyance for me
The thing I find interesting is people’s obsessive investment in Geoff’s enthusiasm levels. Honestly, who cares about him or what he thinks about anything? He hosts a show, gives people a forum to display their goods. Derive your own enthusiasm out of what you see. It sounds like you are desperate for Geoff to validate your own biases rather than being upset about his own.
If he like PlayStation more, he likes PlayStation more.

If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Start your own videogame showcase. He put in the effort, he earned the right to shill whatever he wants. He is under no obligation to be impartial.
That goes against the push of him speaking and putting on shows on behalf of the video games industry. He should at least change the name of his shows then. If he was a professional about it he could at least hide the dislike of everything Xbox.
And to be abundantly clear, I am in no way a Geoff fan. I dont like his personality or the way he presents things myself. But I just moved on with my life. I dont watch his content, I dont follow him on twitter, and if I do tune into something like the game awards, I am viewing it for the content and I just ignore him when he speaks.
Most importantly, I just dont think his enthusiasm or biases are that important. No sane person is going to watch the presentation and be like “OH WOW, Perfect dark is back! Im excited!!..wait never mind, Geoff didn’t show any enthusiasm, I guess Im not interested”
Why doesn’t he just host a PS awards show then? Maybe he can take over PSX then he doesn’t have to worry about Xbox and annoying the fan base /s
