Lol, while Im sure this is primarily meant as a joke. I do like what is emerging here. Phil at the top and each branch XGS, Behesda, and Activision Blizzard having their own structures beneath. Luckily Mr. Booty looks like he just has to worry about his branch of the tree.

I was kinda suprised that there was no Bethesda directly under Phil in the org chart, but Matt Booty was there for Xbox Game Studios. Unless I missed it.
Yeah, Id be interested to hear more about that. There is no way he can oversee all of this, or he would look like the images above.
I think because it’s treated like a subsidiary, much like all the acquisitions of 2018-19 and presumably Acti-Bliz.
I would hope so because gears 5 had the worst system
They said Activision Blizzard would be reporting into CEO of Microsoft Gaming. The other studios all report into Matt Booty.

Big spicy take, Xbox now has no excuse to release shooters that feel bad. Arkane shooting tend to feel wonky, SoT feels bad and I feel the same concern for Inxiles RPG. Hell, first person combat should be top tier across the board.
I appreciate any sort of integration and collaboration across studios would take a long time and we haven’t really even seen any evidence of it across Bethesda yet.

I don’t think Bethesda reports to Matt, but to Phil like Acti-Bliz will, he’s the head of the specific 15 XGS.
Yeah, the 3 branches under Phil is great. There’s no way Booty manage all that by himself, but that would have been funny, yeah !
Xbox is a juggernaut now. It’s the biggest gaming company I guess. Crazy !

Yeah, I get that but I think Joe in this case means the game that are supposed to launch with all the content you’d expect, but then they don’t and since it’s on GP it’s ok, basically. We don’t need any of that. But seeing how Halo was the only game that shipped like that, definitely a exception.
The gun and sword combat in SoT is just bad, I would say. It’s not satisfying to use at all. Definitely one of my gripes about that.
And agreed, if a game goes solely for first person, please nail the combat.
They should buy Techland and have everyone copy their first person melee combat lol.
