Xbox Game Studios |OT8| Leaving The Drought Behind And Heading For Starfield

The 76 ones in particular are jarring compared to even Skyrim. Im not gonna defend those thats for sure lol.

Well I happen to prefer consoles over PC and streaming. Easily.

Don’t know if anyone is playing Elder Scrolls Online, but Zenimax Online is releasing a teaser Trailer or something similar for the next expansion next week.

Next location is probably in Hammerfell for Redguard, High Rock for Bretons or Valenwood for Bosmer.

They said it’s for a Race with lack of lore, which would be Bretons, the most boring and uninteresting Race in Elder Scrolls.

Considering High Rock is the most probable location for TES6 that would be neat to see.

I don’t care when it comes to Tech revolution Bethesda are the best Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion they were always ahead it was less the case with Skyrim and Fallout 4 because the engine needed an overhaul but Starfield and TES VI will be technologically ahead of everything when released

They would expand the location because it’s already filled in the base game + Wrothgar dlc. Or they could also use Skyrim because the Reachmen are basically wild Brerons.

What are these pictures from?

I think even beyond them looking nice in the game, they need advanced tools to be able to create a wide variety of highly detailed NPC. Presumably something AI based.

The only thing I want for TESIV is more distinct races and “classes” playstyles.

Make every playthrough with a different race a unique one.

Vids 2 years old but she is an npc for the new game.

Ubisoft is investing heavily into animation AI . I think thats probably the future .

Highly unlikely. They dumb down TES so everyone can be their own King of their playground without any restrictions, except for magic, which they destroy completely.

If characters in Starfield are going to look like the astronauts face we saw in the in-game engine teaser… that’ll be a big improvement for sure.

So far Fallout 3 main story, TES5 Skyrim, Morrowind main story, Most of TESO I still need to do the new expansion and dungeons, Fallout 4, Dishonored 1 and 2. I was playing through 76 but I ran into some glitches on Xbox One and decided to wait until they can be smoothed out a little(although I doubt that anything has been done about the scorched weird freezing in place). I need to start a playthrough of Oblivion, and the rest of the games on the service, Although I will skip Doom as 2016 was feels horrible on controller because the aim isn’t properly calibrated and Doom Eternal I’m not enjoying the platforming, so I will likely use a guide for those areas.

Wolfenstein I still need to jump back into as well as Prey, I don’t think I will be playing Rage 2 as something about the games look felt off to my taste.

That’s the Skyrim grandma, really cool. I really hope she’s still around when VI releases.

If NPCs look that good in-game in TES VI, wow.

I don’t have a problem with what Bethesda has done with them myself simply because they don’t use face capture for their work(or at least that’s my assumption). If they do start using it, I hope to see them be on par with what others are doing currently.

This is very cool - I know there has been no acquisitions for Xbox after Zenimax, but there seems to be a considerable organic growth all across XGS and Zenimax.

Like others, I won’t be surprised if there are more studios being opened as well within Xbox.

If you start playing Elder Scrolls Online only for the story content, you will invest around 300h for the base game.

There is a rumor that it will be possible for the NPCs (and the player) of The Elder Scrolls VI to get married, have a family, have children grow old and die and if this also already applied to Starfield In Fallout Shelter. NPCs could recur

to have children, to grow old so I tell myself that it is simply the logical continuation of the worlds of Bethesda and if in Starfield the goal is to create a colony I will not be surprised if the NPCs and the player could start his own family.

The rumor

  • The game takes place at High Rock & Hammerfell. What we see in the trailer is Yokuda. They want to get closer to the aesthetics of a TES: Battlespire giving it a less generic look. Many quests will revolve around political intrigue.

  • TES 6 seeks to return to its RPG roots by offering more possibilities in the way of approaching its character

  • The main quest will take place around the Tower of Adamantine, still operational at the time of the game. The Thalmor will be there and will exploit the tensions between Hammerfell and High Rock

  • There is no procedural, Bethesda prefers to favor the handmade. However, the procedural generation method will be used for quests.

  • They are creating a system quite similar to the Radiant System but in a more organic, more natural way. They will give a feeling of life to all the NPCs, they can get married, start a family, grow old and die, they have a more developed job and routine than before. Typically: During the day, they go to work in a store to earn money, in the evening they close their establishment and go to the tavern to spend the money earned by putting on a wall and then stagger home to sleep. Some will become criminals because of financial difficulty for example, … The goal would be to make - almost - unique each NPC. What’s more, they want our decisions during quests to have more of an impact on the world and how NPCs react to us.

  • TES 6 was only considered belatedly because they did not yet consider having the technology up to their ambition. They want a game without any loading, you can enter and leave a big city without having to go through the loading space or inside a cave, … With the sole exception of the player’s house who can contain very many objects resulting from a necessary loading.

  • Since many quests will be related to magic, they wanted to increase the number of existing spells compared to Skyrim as well as make all schools of magic more interesting. Many spells are inspired by community-created mods like Phendrix. Alteration, for example, is not just about magic armor but also about actually altering reality. For example, we can manipulate a giant spear planted in the rock in order to send it on our enemies. Or even restoration that goes beyond simple care to be inspired by the Miracles of Dark Souls. Sunlight is back in the School of Restoration and will allow its enemies to be blinded or even cause damage to certain enemies so that it does not supplant the School of Destruction. The latter will also buff his weapons with an aura of fire, ice, … And the biggest change is the return of the creation of Morrowind spells

  • The crafting system also receives big changes, taking inspiration from the Fallout 4 system. We can modify each weapon to adapt it to our build. For example, you can create a huge hammer and add spikes to its faces to add a bleeding effect. You can also change a short sword to make it gain length, to the detriment of its attack speed but allowing more damage. You can also modify them in terms of aesthetics such as adding jewels on them. The armors will have the same system.

  • They revised the copy of the guilds of Skyrim to lengthen the quests and the rise in power. The vampire guild is making a comeback from Morrowind but will have several castes. Some vampires will focus on vampiric power seeking to feed on as many victims as possible (vampire more warrior, allowing to obtain a powerful form in melee and to become a Vampire Lord) while others will seek to blend in. the political game to pull the cogs but the more you gain in vampiric power, the more you will develop a madness which will make you act strangely, revealing your identity to the NPCs and making you hostile. The last caste focus on invisibility, allowing them to be invisible and to fly (levitation).

  • They haven’t planned a DLC yet

  • They do not yet know the date but are counting on 2025

This is a lot, what’s the source?

Personally I didn’t care much for marriage in Skyrim, didn’t add much. But if it’s going this deep, that would be interesting.
