I think this was incredible good move. Say what you wanit about him,but Kojima really do special stuff. I just finished playing Death Stranding, and I remember ppl mocking the game over it being a delivery simulator. Thing is that the game does have some crazy shit on it, but I really liked it, it was innovative and felt freash, had a great, but sometimes difficult story to follow, and a mystery around it that kept my attention, also great graphics and atmosphere. I had a great time playing it. I really hope that this deal can somehow make DS2 comes sooner to the Xbox.

I confess that I was very dismissive of Death Stranding while being secretly intrigued by it for years. I had finally convinced myself it was overrated and just a walking simulator, but then loved it when it came to Xbox.
Kojima still knows how to nail the gameplay of his games, even though cinematics are crazy pretentious and his quirks and fetishes can be annoying.

Exactly. Sure Microsoft owns Xbox but the people at Xbox have nothing to do with what Microsoft corporate does or doesnât do.

Just got done watching Kinda Funnyâs segment on this news, and Tim was spiralling! Somehow managed to squeeze in some jabs as to it being the fault of Xbox for not providing adequate competition, and conveniently omitting that itâll release on PC to make a point that it wonât sell due to no PS release (though that platform hasnât been ruled out yet?).
Mike made a kinda funny cameo, it was just a shame Blessing wasnât around. To see Tim go from âWe Won!â to now being so disillusioned with PS this past week, has been hilarious to watch.

Like I knew Kinda Funny was all about that PS, but it became too much for me to even entertain them anymore. I only listen to Gamertag and XB2.
I wonder how our boy Geoff will react to this when itâs time to push the game at his shows? Kojimaâs always had a special place at TGA.

I love that new narrative of Xbox needing Playstation to sell itâs gamesâŚall of a sudden. I really love that certain things need to beâŚoverlooked in order to push said narrative. One being Forza Horizon 6 doing great without a PS5 release. Another being that (as already brought up) a PC release and the fact that PC/Steam is bigger than PS could ever hope to be. Yet another being that outside of Forza, and Grounded (i think) most other Xbox games including Gears and Halo did rather poorly on PS5. Just sayinâŚ

Gears apparently sold over a million on PS5, itâs also a remaster of the first game in the series. I donât think it under performed unless Xbox was expecting it to sell like CoD or something.
Halo apparently under performed according the Alinea Analytics, I think a graph had sales break down around 40% on PS and 40% Xbox and 20% on Steam. I donât really trust their numbers as they tend to be up to 30% off from data that is given by pubs, but they estimated Halo sold a little over a million with all platforms combined.
