I noticed each year since 2023 shows off a new console or rather new place to play Xbox, so maybe Asus one can be it.
Hope we do get a small tease for the Next Box right at the end, I think the focus will be on games though, hope to see..
Halo, Contraband, the new IP that Double Fine is working on (where the boss confirmed that in a recent interview with Retro Gamer), Forza Horizon 5, Project Mara, Clockwork Revolution and maybe a little look at The Elder Scrolls VI

As with all things in life it’s just best to keep the expectations low and be surprised when they show cool shit.
I am hoping for a new look at Fable, but I guess it really depends on what the new planned release window is for that. Just updates on all the stuff XGS is making, cool third party reveals and of course some very cool additions to the best service in gaming.
And as for many years now…having FF16 and/or FF7R announced finally would make me a very happy panda.

I’m just really hoping for Final Fantasy 16 and 7R, at long last.
Persona 4 Remake seems like a lock. I would guess we do not see anything on Forza Horizon 6, not until Fable is released or close to release.

But really, people did have high praise for last show. It’s best to keep it normal rather than expect something crazy. At worst, it will be a fun show.

Since the day is the day, here are the ones am dead set and know for a fact are gonna show up in some form:
. Tony Hawk Pro Skater game(It makes too much sense to show some things here if they can)
.Fable(Makes sense to show up)
. State of Decay 3(I bet its either a release date or just the year it releases at all)
. Double Fine Project(I think given how much time has passed, i won’t be shocked if we see one or two of their upcoming games)
. One of the xbox publishing games(I think we could get contraband but i do think we get another new game as well)
. Hollow Knight Silksong(I genuiely think its gonna be shown here, in fact gonna go ahead and say they shadowdrop the game right after the showcase is over if not they annouce a realease date)
. Persona 4 remake(Honestly, i do expect Atlus to show up given how much presence they have in xbox nowadays).
.Updates of Sea of Thieves and Fallout 76.
Now, here is my predicticion in this showcase:
. I bet we get some form of square enix showing off some new games as well as as maybe a shadowdrop of ff16 and ff7 remake on xbox with play anywhere.
. I think we get to see some new unique stuff from the likes of capcom(Similar to Kumitsu Gami)
. I bet we also have some new games from chinese game studios.
. I expect something related to ZZZ in regards to version 2.1, maybe a trailer(I would honestly not be all that shocked if it happens).
.We see a new game from the publishing arm of Kepler Interactive(This is a publisher we have seen working with xbox a lot lately so am not gonna be surprised if this does happen).
.We see some brand new jrpg ip that was never before seen(I kinda hopes its penny blood or armed fantasia cause they both deserve some massive exposure given the upsetting shitstorm that happen to one of them).
We see a big gacha game like nevverness to everness be annouced for xbox consoles alongside other platforms outside just playstation. This one would be amazing.

Those are some of my personal predictions for the most part, but am willing to sit back and see what i got wrong or not, either way am interested.
We’ve had such a good year and also such a great show last year it’s going to be hard to keep the momentum going, and I don’t expect Xbox to say they’ve bought any more studios or have any big secret games to unveil
I’m hoping just to see some of the games that they have been working on for a long time to be shown off, probably with gameplay like for Contraband, Fable or Double Fine’s new game or Rare’s Everwild
I do fear that like with Summer Game Fest many games will have ‘coming in 2026’ and we’ll have buggerall for this year LOL

It’s crazy to see 66% A grade last year. It’s like people that hates the platform had a conscious battle to vote D and A. Will it be the same? It’s going to be hard but enjoy for what it is.

I think it’s accepted by now that the Xbox showcase is reliably good, even in places that are normally very hostile to Xbox.

2 hours seems like a lot. I’m not elevating my expectations, but I’m curious how much stuff they’ve packed into this since it’s going to be longer than last year’s ridiculous show. Maybe they are going to announce new hardware, or maybe there will be a 20 minute love fest between Xbox and Square. Maybe they’ll pull a Geoff and have Kojima on to talk for 15 minutes about a cutscene where nothing happens.

I’ll laugh if they invited Geoff to the floor so he can drag on the show as he is known for. I don’t know if TOW2 is going to be stacked game, so if not, there will be a lot for Showcase. Last year, they demoed South of Midnight and Indiana Jones. Who will receive that treatment?
Moon shot : Forza Horizon 6 or a console hardware reveal.
Possible : release date for Gears E day and Clock work revolution. Trailer for Everwild.
Definitely there : Bethesda live service games and Outerworlds 2 release date.
Conspiracy theory… Fable was delayed due to launch of FH6 this autumn/fall.
