I saw Suicide Squad. My thoughts:
Rocksteady: Weāre going to work on SS and bring the elements of Arkham games with refinement and beyond.
WB: Eh, make a third person shooter.
Rocksteady: We want hand-to-hand combat.
WB: And we want more guns. Make it live service as well.
Rocksteady: But why?

You know, nothing in the marketing for BG3 so far indicates console exclusivity. I wouldnāt be shocked if itās marketing exclusivity and not actual release exclusivity aāla the ridiculous Diablo 3 situation.

Even though I will of course have tons to play, the BG3 moneyhat is still a gut punch for me. I was thinking about getting a new PC to play it, and other newer PC RPGs of course, but now because of the moneyhat if it doesnāt come to Xbox Iāll never play it.

This. Especially if the game is a superhero game. I mean why do superheros need loot, a gear score and whatnot? UGH. Suicide Squad is a combination of Avengers, Gotham Knights and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Double UGH. Iāve demoted it to my 50/50 list and see how it turns out later this year. lol

State of Play was horrible. Only REmake4 for me which I already have the Xbox Series X Deluxe Edition pre-ordered at GameStop. Donāt care about the VR or the indie stuff. Suicide Squad has been demoted on my list from a day one purchase to a 50/50 wait and see. lol. Baldurās Gate 3 is a good get for Sony and PlayStation 5 exclusive or not but itās turn based which im completely done with so meh for me. This SOP was basically a tide me over show until their expected PlayStation Showcase in June.

Okay but I donāt understand what the issue is with Diablo 3 back then? Thatās why im confused. I only became interested in Diablo after seeing IV get revealed three years ago.

I think with turn based games, the current day games that do new mechanics to keep things fresh are the way to go. I remember loving FF7, but I canāt play it anymore without falling asleep.
But games like Persona 5R, with knock downs, 1 more, baton pass.
Child of Light with the ability to knock opponents further down the turn line.
Chained Echos with its system heat system(Something like that anyway) where to get the best damage and defense, you have to keep your gage in the green, with yellow being regular and red being a danger.
Valkyrie Profile, were each face button represents a character and we can have them attack all at once either the same target or multiples. With timing allowing us to do really cool combos, and special attacks as well.
They keep things fresh in an otherwise stationary game.
